Solana-based crypto banking app Avici is being exploited, with attackers draining more than $1 million from user card collateral accounts.

The attacker is allegedly abusing Avici’s permissions system to gain control of affected accounts and withdraw funds.

🚨 HACKER STEALS 400M FOGO TOKENS WORTH $3M

The Fogo Foundation says it was compromised by an unknown attacker who stole around 400 million FOGO tokens worth roughly $3 million.

The stolen tokens represent more than 10% of FOGO’s circulating supply, with the token falling around 20% following the disclosure.

🚨 ENTIRE BLOCKCHAIN SHUT DOWN AFTER $75M HACK

A hacker drained an estimated $75 million from Tectonic, a crypto lender built on the Cronos blockchain, after pumping its token price roughly 100x and borrowing real assets against the fake value.

Cronos then shut down the entire network to stop the attacker moving the stolen funds, with only around $6 million reaching Ethereum before the halt.

🚨 MORE MARKETS DRAINED OF ~$9.3M

Crypto lending protocol More Markets has been exploited for around $9.3 million after an attacker manipulated the value of their collateral.

The inflated value allowed the attacker to borrow real WFLOW against it, ultimately draining the protocol’s entire WFLOW lending reserve.

🚨 FBI SEIZES $560K IN CRYPTO LINKED TO HAMAS

The FBI seized more than $560,000 in crypto intended for Hamas, along with domains and servers used by the group for fundraising and recruitment.

Authorities also obtained information on thousands of people who contacted Hamas attempting to donate, with the network using encrypted communications and rotating crypto addresses to solicit funds.

🚨 UPDATE: Fogo says 237 million of the 400 million stolen FOGO tokens have been recovered and permanently removed from supply.

The network has also restarted and is operating normally.

🚨 US AND UK LAUNCH CRACKDOWN ON $10B CRYPTO SCAM INDUSTRY

The U.S. and UK have launched a first-of-its-kind alliance to target global scam centers behind crypto investment fraud and other cyber-enabled scams.

The DOJ says these networks, many linked to Chinese organised crime groups operating compounds across Southeast Asia, are costing Americans around $10 billion per year. The two countries will now share intelligence, coordinate prosecutions and carry out joint disruption operations.
