🛠 How automatic burning mechanism (called GBM) helps create a sustainable DeFi platform

Story begins from here: what happens to a DeFi protocol when emissions come to an end? Manual burning? No! A sustainable and automatic solution is required.

WigoSwap has a de-minting function in which a burned $WIGO is reduced from total supply, enabling protocol to continue minting emissions and rewarding farmers forever despite having a 2B hard-cap. This mechanism is different from just sending tokens to a dead address.
It is usable by everyone through MasterFarmer contract.

Currently simple actions are using this function to burn $WIGO, like un-staking fees. All future features on WigoSwap like NFT marketplace are aimed at boosting the burning mechanism, but these are just the beginning.

The most interesting part reveals where games take part in boosting this process. Two strategies are ahead:
1- Built-in mini games and competitions (based on User Profile System)
2- Initial Farm Offering, exclusively designed for external games using burning mechanism.

That's why we call it Gamified Burning Mechanism. (GBM)

We have planned to reach 1M $WIGO burning per day with the help of GBM to guarantee rewards for farmers forever.
