I am from Louisville KY. Though I live Alabama my entire family is in Louisville. Louisville had severe storms and flooding before the derby. All the normal derby festivities were cancelled except for the marathon run. They have lost significant $$ on these events not going off. The fireworks show (Thunder over Louisville) was a big loss. I fully expected the weather to suck on Derby Day, like mentioned above they have had system after system beating on them. Yes, my sister and I have talked of the tunnels during the flooding event. We always pray for them to be wiped out..as there are many through KY with the amount of caves both above ground and below. One thing I noticed today was the lack of Hollywood Stars at the Derby. Very noticeable.I mostly saw coverage of sports figures athletes like Simone Gold. And the big Barnsdale party thrown ever year didn't draw a big attendance either...again weather blew through the tents that had to be redone. All the big stars and athletes attend this Popular noted party. So this was probably an indication Hollyweird is missing beats😉 and lastly I'll add my mother's comments on Baffort (Trainer) being back from his 3 yr suspension (doping)and that he should of never been allowed again. And how it made her sick Churchill Downs big wigs all welcoming him back 🙂 Ppl either love him or they don't. I've yet to see an air traffic video of after Derby. That's when they say ALOT of trafficking is happening on private jets...let's pray that was different patterns from past years🙏
