I realized that when Allah loves you, He won't necessarily bless you a lot with obvious or material things like a big mansions or cars, or even attention from the world. Instead, He blesses and favours you in ways that make you a better human being. He will give you a better sense of self-worth, He will give you knowledge, He will give you intellect, He will place opportunities in your soft heart to help others. He will mould you into someone who spreads kindness and love.

He will put only meaningful people in your life so that it's only you and Him. He will give you a sound heart and a piece of mind. Blessings are not always obvious. But looking deep and realizing that you're blessed is real blessing.

There are many forms of arrogance.
Money. Fame. Status. Being better at something than someone else. We know these. We talk about these.

But what about the arrogance of worship?
The one who prays and looks down on the one who doesn't. The one who gives charity and feels superior because of it. The one whose ibadah becomes a reason to belittle others rather than a means to get closer to Allah.

This is perhaps the most dangerous kind, because it hides behind something good.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "No one who has an atom's weight of pride in his heart will enter Paradise." (Sahih Muslim 91)
Not an atom's weight. That's how serious this is.

May Allah purify our intentions. May He protect us from arrogance in all its forms, even the ones dressed up as righteousness.
Ameen.

🕋 A most unusual Hajj story. This man is from Ghana. He is poor and lives outside the city. A few years ago, A drone belonging to a Turkish news agency fell next to his house. When the Turkish journalists came looking for it, they found the man holding the drone in his hands and he jokingly asked them "do you have a larger one that can take me to Hajj".

The journalist published the story and the Turkish government decided to send the man to Hajj, all expenses paid. Here he is in Makkah ready for his Hajj.

The moral of the story: when Allah calls upon you to come to Makkah, He will use whatever and whoever to make your journey possible.

Why is Friday called Jummu’ah?

Al-Hāfiz ibn Katheer رحمہ اللہ said:
📒 It was named Jumu’ah because it is derived from the word ‘ja-ma-a’, as the people of Islām, i.e., Muslims congregate on this day every week.📕

Every soul belongs to Allah 💗

May He grant mercy to those who have passed, patience to their families, and justice to the oppressed.
