The People of No Reckoning ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

On Yawm al-Qiyamah, a group of people will walk straight toward the gates of Jannah. Ridwan (the gatekeeper of Paradise) will stop them, asking:
โ€œWhere are you going? Have you faced the Judgment? The Reckoning?โ€

They will reply, โ€œYa Ridwan, we are not the people of the Reckoning.โ€ Confused, he will ask, โ€œHow so?โ€ They will answer: โ€œHave you not read the Qurโ€™an? Allah says:

'Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.' (39:10)

Ridwan will then ask, โ€œAnd how was your patience in the dunya?โ€

Their secret?
1. When cheated, they forgave.
2. When wronged, they let it go.
3. When they sinned, they sought Istighfar.
4. When tested, they remained steadfast.
5. When blessed, they were grateful.

Patience isnโ€™t just waiting; itโ€™s how we behave while we wait.

Weeks before his shahada, brother Amin Abdullah wrote:
"Success is returning back to Allah with the same pure soul He loaned me at birth."

He didn't run. He stood between the gunmen and the children inside the masjid. Every one of them walked out alive.
He lived by his words. He died by them.

May Allah accept him as a shaheed, grant him the highest ranks of Jannah, and hold his family of 8 with His mercy. Ameen.

I realized that when Allah loves you, He won't necessarily bless you a lot with obvious or material things like a big mansions or cars, or even attention from the world. Instead, He blesses and favours you in ways that make you a better human being. He will give you a better sense of self-worth, He will give you knowledge, He will give you intellect, He will place opportunities in your soft heart to help others. He will mould you into someone who spreads kindness and love.

He will put only meaningful people in your life so that it's only you and Him. He will give you a sound heart and a piece of mind. Blessings are not always obvious. But looking deep and realizing that you're blessed is real blessing.

There are many forms of arrogance.
Money. Fame. Status. Being better at something than someone else. We know these. We talk about these.

But what about the arrogance of worship?
The one who prays and looks down on the one who doesn't. The one who gives charity and feels superior because of it. The one whose ibadah becomes a reason to belittle others rather than a means to get closer to Allah.

This is perhaps the most dangerous kind, because it hides behind something good.

The Prophet ๏ทบ said: "No one who has an atom's weight of pride in his heart will enter Paradise." (Sahih Muslim 91)
Not an atom's weight. That's how serious this is.

May Allah purify our intentions. May He protect us from arrogance in all its forms, even the ones dressed up as righteousness.
Ameen.
