Shaykh Bakr ʾAbū Zayd said :

ومن مراحل الدعوة على منهاج النبوة: محو جاهلية الحكم بغير ما أنزل الله بالدعوة إلى تحكيم شريعة الله: في الولاية العظمى، والقضاء، ومرافق الحياة كافة، إذ تحكيم الشريعة في ذلك عبادة، والعبادة لا يجوز صرفها لغير الله تعالى، فتحكيم القوانين الوضعية في القضاء مثلاً شرك بالله في حكمه، ألا ترى قول الله تعالى: ﴿إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ أَمَرَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ﴾ [يوسف: ٤٠]

Among the stages of daʿwah upon the methodology of the Prophet [is] erasing the ignorance (jāhiliyyah) of ruling by other than what Allāh has revealed, by calling to the application of the Sharīʿah of Allāh: in the supreme authority, the judiciary, and all facilities of life.

For applying the Sharīʿah in this regard is an act of worship, and worship is not permissible to be directed to other than Allāh, Exalted is He. Thus, appointing man-made laws (taḥkīm al-qawānīn al-waḍʿiyyah) in the judiciary, for example, is shirk with Allāh in His ruling (ḥukmih).

The Prophet (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"Any Man who takes out a loan, having resolved not to pay it back, will meet Allah (SWT) as a thief."

(Sunan Ibn Majah, 2410)

People who died yesterday, had plans for today.

To all our sisters especially in South Asia, Bangladesh, India and beyond, please read this carefully.

There is a growing pattern that many are not aware of. Hindu men approach Muslim girls online, sometimes on Instagram, Telegram, Facebook or even in university and college settings. They start the conversation normally, then slowly they bring up Islam. They say things like "I am interested in your religion" or "I think I want to revert to Islam" or "teach me about Islam."

The sister feels happy, she feels like she is doing something good for the deen, she starts sending videos, hadiths, Quran recitations. And slowly without realizing it the conversation becomes something more and she falls into a trap.

This is known as the Bhagwa Love Trap and it is a real and documented pattern happening across our region. Some of these individuals are doing this intentionally to pull our sisters away from their deen, their identity and their community.

Dear sisters, your intention to do dawah is beautiful and Allah will reward you for it. But shaytaan uses good intentions as doors. Dawah to non mahram men is not your responsibility, leave that to the brothers. Protect your heart, protect your deen, protect your identity.

If someone you know online suddenly shows interest in Islam and starts getting close, please be cautious. Tell your brothers or the men in your community and let them handle it. Your job is to make dua for them, not to be their personal teacher.

May Allah protect all our sisters and keep them firm on the straight path. Please share this with every sister you know. Jazakumullah khayran.
