My contribution to the TON ecosystem 💎

It's only been a couple of days since I showed my Jetton-wallet.

Much to my surprise, I received a lot of requests during this time. 😅

Most of the requests were from developers and were related to the solution of a particular problem.

But yesterday, a big Telegram channel owner wrote to me with a proposal that made me think.
I was offered to sell a project for a large sum of money. 💰

I must admit that I thought about selling for a while, but my developments would have served only one player in this case.

I decided not to sell the source code but to open source it.
This will benefit the entire community as a whole, not individual players.

Not a meme ⚙️

Over the past few days, the TON community has paid a lot of attention to the Scaleton project.
I am happy that the project benefits both users and developers.

The project does not stand still and is constantly evolving. 🚀

For example, the other day, in addition to numerous fixes, IPFS support was added, and the fee for token transfers was reduced.
But I would like to highlight one detail especially.

Scaleton users couldn't help but notice the Scaleton (SCALE) token.

This is the official token of the project. A token behind a real project. A token with its own characteristics.

It is based on a contract from the TON Foundation with some limitations.

The token's total supply is 21 million coins, and the minting of new ones is impossible.
At the same time, it is possible to burn existing coins.
This means that over time there will be fewer and fewer coins.

Earlier, the official token of the project - SCALE was announced.

Here is a chance to get some SCALE coins.

To participate in the distribution, you must:

Note: You may not see your jettons if you previously used TON Wallet. Don't worry, it's there. You just don't see it.
It happens because TON Wallet and Tonhub use different versions of the wallet contract (v3 and v4, accordingly).

🚀 DEX is on air 🚀

Today, Scaleton is launching the first public DEX in the TON ecosystem (on the testnet for now).

The launch on the main network will be as soon as the smart contract is carefully checked by the best TON developers.

Tonight, SCALE coins were sent to all wallets registered in the bot.

Scaleton Tokenomics

Tokenomics is a significant part of a token.
It took a long time to get a balanced SCALE tokenomics.

Based on the category names on the diagrams, you can understand what's what, but I would still like to pay attention to some details.

1. Pre-sale

In the coming days (to be announced), 2,100,000 SCALE (10% of the issue) will be put up for sale.
This pre-sale is the last opportunity to get some coins before the launch of the DEX.

2. Grants

The task of the grant system is to support the development of the TON ecosystem.
The bet is that the community will highlight problem areas.
And anyone who will solve such problems will be entitled to grants.

3. Paid services

This category is not displayed on the diagram, but it is essential to mention.
Soon, paid services will appear on Scaleton.
Half of the income from these services will be burned.

The time has come for what many have been waiting for.
From now on, the sale of the SCALE coin is open.
In total, 2100000 SCALE are put up for sale at a price of 0.01 TON.
All coins that remain after the completion of the ICO will be burned.

How to buy SCALE?

To purchase, you need a NON-CUSTODIAL wallet (for example, Tonhub, Tonkeeper, or TON Wallet).

The ICO is ending, and if you haven't bought SCALE yet, you have 24 hours left.

In the future, the coin will only be available for purchase after the launch of DEX by Scaleton.

1. After that, all coins that remain within the ICO (not sold ~1.4M SCALE) will be burned.

2. Additionally, part of the coins intended for DEXs will be burned.
Burning is necessary because too many coins can collapse the course (which is not what SCALE holders would like).
Therefore, exactly as much will be burned from the ICO category (i.e. ~1.4M SCALE) will be burned.

3. It is important to note that 10% of the total supply (2.1M SCALE) have already been burned.
The coins are subtracted from the Development and Marketing categories (5% each), as there is an opinion this volume is too large for the Scaleton team.

🚀 DEX LAUNCH 🚀

Today, after a long pause (121 days 🤓), DEX is available on the mainnet.

During this time, DEX has been completely redesigned and made from scratch.

What's remarkable?

First, DEX is a decentralized solution.
This means that anyone should be able not only to exchange one token for another but also to place the tokens of their project (without paying crazy money for listing).

To do this, add the address of the contract when choosing a token, deposit liquidity, and it can be exchanged for other tokens.

Secondly, a fee (0.5%) is charged for each transaction, so you can receive some tokens for providing liquidity.

​DeDust: the TON-based DEX

A number of new DEXs have been launched in the TON network lately, and several companies have also announced the launch of their exchanges.

The TON DeFi segment is expanding, so today we are going to introduce you to the decentralized exchange DeDust, which is already active on the main network and is available for token exchange.

The following features are available to DeDust users:

TON Connect 2.0 support

The other day, you could observe problems in DeDust when working with Tonkeeper.
It happened due to the transition to a new, unfamiliar TON Connect 2.0.
Difficulty working with something new is normal - it's part of the workflow.

Now that the work on the transition to the new protocol has been completed and is working stably, we can summarize.

1. DeDust is the first application in Tonkeeper that has completely switched to TON Connect 2.0 (and the first not only in this 😉).

2. Although DeDust already supports almost all wallets available in TON, support for TON Connect 2.0 will make it easier to work with everything. For now, only Tonkeeper officially supports TON Connect 2.0, but there are already initiatives to add protocol support to existing wallets (Tonhub and OpenMask).

DeDust listing on CoinMarketCap

I'm sure many of you have already heard that DeDust appeared on CoinMarketCap along with $SCALE and several other tokens.

Of course, this is an important event for DeDust, but at the same time, it is no less (and perhaps more) important for the entire TON.

Previously, listing tokens on CoinMarketCap was meaningless due to a lack of pricing information. The situation has changed, and CoinMarketCap can take this information from DeDust.

The presence of a token on CoinMarketCap gives access to the entire market, while the absence, on the contrary, is equivalent to the fact that the token does not exist. DeDust acts as a “bridge” to the outside world, giving projects with tokens access to the CMC audience.
