When I saw this in today's newspaper, I remember my conversation with a JNU professor, School of International Studies (SIS) . I asked the professor - "What does India's foreign policy miss?"

He replied - Gaurav you have asked a genuine question which is rarely asked because people have deemed certain pattern as ultimate "truth" like we are now defeating American realism. He corrected by saying - "we are missing realism in true sense. we speak more and act very less."

What does this mean? - Let's understand this from the above newspaper heading. Even if you want to cross LoC, just cross without speaking it in public. If you have spoken this in public, you have put yourself at disadvantageous position since these statements may be used by Pakistan and China for propaganda in open ecosystem even if you do not actually cross LoC.

Let's look at US's and China's design of realism. They often do it and deny it on the shoulder of "national interest". Therefore, we must understand one thing that in geopolitics perception matters more than posture.
