How to stop overthinking?

Problems are smaller than they seem.

Worrying doesn't change outcomes.

Don't be afraid to fail.

Accept the uncertainty of the future.

Physical activity brings body-mind connection.

Do your spiritual practices daily.

Relax, everything will change with time.

Arguments for One Nation One Election (ONOE)

1. Saving of public money: Currently, the costs of conducting all State and parliamentary elections in a five-year cycle work out to the equivalent of ₹10 per voter per year (As per ECI). The NITI Aayog report has also said that when elections are synchronised, it will cost the equivalent of ₹5 per voter per year.

2. Ensure national security: Amid limited personnel, It would reduce the strain on the administrative setup and security forces.

3. Focus on developmental activities: Timely implementation of government policies, and administrative focus on development activities rather than electioneering.

4. Inclusivity: It prevents elder people from visiting polling booth again and again.

5. Protect from Policy Paralysis: The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) also affects the government's functionary, as no new significant policy can be announced and executed after the elections are announced.

6. Curb freebies in politics: Even though this cannot be stopped fully, the frequency with which governments have to announce freebies will come down.

7. May increase voter %: It would make migrants logical to go back to their source region for voting. The 2011 census reported the number of internal migrants in India at 45.36 crore, making up 37% of the country's population.
