Surge of ‘tech giants’ in anarchic order: A footprint of neo-colonialism
It explains - (1) Theoretical explanation (2) Rule makers, rule breakers, (3) Undemocratic behavior, (4) Footprints of neo-colonialism.
🔥 Expansion of BRICS 🔥
BRICS summit 2023: The decision to invite six countries - Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE - to join BRICS as full members and keep its doors open for further expansion has opened a new era. This was initially driven by China with the backing of Russia and South Africa. But once India and Brazil accepted the principle of expansion, the choice of six new members was based on consensus.
Is the expansion good for BRICS? Its leaders think so. The new BRICS-XI will have more political clout, but the extent of its increased influence will depend on building inner unity.
Why were these six countries chosen?
[1] Argentina was brought in to expand Latin American representation.
[2] Egypt, given its excellent ties with China and India, was a natural choice.
[3] Ethiopia was a surprise, the result of a compromise between the claims of Nigeria and Kenya.
[4] The inclusion of Saudi Arabia and the UAE will help in recapitalisation of the New Development Bank, enhancing its capacity to finance development projects.
[5] Iran’s entry reaffirms its strategic location as a bridge between West, Central and South Asia.
Today's topic of discussion would be BRICS and current development. Stay tuned and do not forget to dial down the FREE Subscription for premium content: ▶️ http://bit.ly/dwa-vlog

"You have 100% control over the efforts you put in, but you have no control over the outcome. Your worry is not changing the outcome but affecting your work in hand. The uncertainty is the reality of this world, so detachment from the outcome is the remedy. Detach yourself from the outcome and be free." - Sri Govind
