The same thing happened to me when I was around seven. I was sitting in front of the TV, and the house was struck by lightning, which destroyed it. I think it was a tube TV because the screen had a bright red glow when it happened. Now I wonder if it was a random event or something else.

HOW TO DEAL WITH THOSE WHO AREN'T AWAKE

The following advice may be helpful if you experience difficulty in dealing with family members, relatives, and friends who cannot understand anything spiritual:

To try to convince those imbedded in materialism of the inner realities only causes a breach in relationship, as it represents a positive threat to the security they have worked so hard to attain."

We can only focus on our own vibration and inner light.
This is how we assist in raising the collective consciousness.
Not by telling others that they have it all wrong.
This only lowers our vibration to their level, causing conflict and resistance.
God has a plan for each individual soul to awaken in divine timing.
We can't deny others from experiencing their own unique plan for their eventual awakening.
Just like we had our awakening in divine timing.
Imagine someone trying to deny this from happening before it eventuated.
We are all connected to the one source, the one energy, the one great year.
This ties in to the Yuga cycles.
The collective falls to its lowest point (Kali Yuga) and then rises back once again to its highest point. (Satya Yuga)
This takes place over thousands of years and is not something that is a quick fix/change.
We must surrender to the process and connect to our soul, as it knows what we are here to experience in this lifetime.

GOD IS THE ONLY JUDGE

We live in a dualistic reality where there is up/down, left/right, good/bad, right/wrong.
In God's reality there is only oneness.
God only experiences joy, which has no opposite.
So from God's perspective there is no such thing as right or wrong - it's all joy to God.
This is connected to the free will aspect.

We have a choice to act in a perceived right or wrong manner.
There is however God's natural laws at play.
The law of cause and effect is one of these laws to observe.

So whatever thought you have or action you take has a cause and effect nature.
Every thought or action has a frequency attached to it.
So the lower the frequency, the greater karma attached to it and the further away you become from self realisation.
The higher the frequency and the closer you become to oneness/self realisation.

As everyone has free will in this reality, we have no authority in telling others how to act or behave.
We can only lead by example by focusing on raising our frequency and vibration.
If you observe the communication of the great sages you will notice that they see everyone as one and an extension of God.
No one is better than anyone else - no one is right over another who is wrong.
They accept meat eaters into their meditations and teachings just as much as vegetarians.
There is no judgement.
God is the only one who can judge and that's through the law of cause and effect.
When we judge we lower our vibration and this pushes us further away from God.
So there's a fine line here.
Someone might be behaving in a way that causes more karma as per the law of "cause and effect."
But if then someone starts judging that behaviour and imposing gods laws, then they are lowering their vibration further.
So these disputes begin to have a lose/lose result.

We can only observe, but not judge.
The way the sages answer questions is through metaphors and providing references to scriptures, along with providing stories from other great sages etc.
This way the response is not coming directly from them, and your ego isn't perceiving an attack thinking you are being judged as "right or wrong."
