Asking for help is an interesting phenomenon... Why does it evoke such strange feelings? It's easy to ask for support for others, but strange to do so for myself. I suppose it's programming - self limiting beliefs and conditioning. And it's in these uncomfortable feelings that the growth occurs, right? Time to lean into those discomforts... So here we go... I could use some help.

I've been limping along with extremely poor internet speeds at my house for quite a while now. Download speeds less than 10mbps and upload speeds less than 0.3... Sometimes I feel like I hear the dial-up tone in my head when I'm using it ๐Ÿ˜† Upload speed especially is what affects broadcasting in livestreams and uploading content. I tend to save all that I need to upload each week for when I am at Charlie and Colleen's house, otherwise it takes leaving it overnight and sometimes that isn't even enough to upload a larger video.

Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, we were able to get Charlie and Colleen set up with starlink and wow! It's beautifully simple and works well. And now that I have more confidence in a system like that working here, I'd love to get the same at my house.

As I mentioned, this would give me the ability to do so much more of what I'm doing for everyone. For example, I'd love to have more full length movie watch parties with everyone on the weekends. This is simply not possible at my current speeds at my house. Charlie and Colleen take the weekends off, and enjoy most nights in each other's company - so I can't broadcast from their house at those times. With a faster internet, I'll also be able to do more shows playing music and video clips for us to decode without concern that the quality will be too low/choppy to even enjoy. And so much more!

So if you are able to - please don't for one second if this adds any stress to your life - but if you are able to help with this new venture, I'd greatly appreciate it. The costs are 8300 pesos (about $487 USD) and the monthly cost is 1100 pesos ($65 USD/month), which is outside of my current budget. I pay less than half of that for the garbage internet I currently have, so I'll be able to cancel that and can maintain that cost for sure. But any help with the additional cost is greatly appreciated! There are several ways listed in the link below to help out. Thank you!!
