Iran just blew a hole in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
As reported earlier, Iran has often relied on crypto for years now as a source of combating economic isolation. The country is also a major hub of crypto mining operations, thanks to its comparatively lower power rates.
Finance continues to remain among the most prominent targets in any war, and the Israel-Iran war has proved to be no exception so far.
The total crypto market cap has dipped 3% to $3.25 trillion since the latest war began in the Middle East on June 13.

The British aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08) has passed through the Suez Canal. The transit was reported on June 19, 2025, and is seen as a significant operational move, potentially indicating deployment to the Eastern Mediterranean, Red Sea, or Indo-Pacific regions. The carrier's presence in the area may be related to ongoing regional tensions.
This is not the first time HMS Queen Elizabeth has transited the canal. Her last major passage occurred in 2021, during Carrier Strike Group 21 when the vessel operated in the Indo-Pacific alongside allied navies. However, today’s transit was not announced in any recent MoD briefing or press release, indicating a possible deliberate decision to maintain operational secrecy.

The longest day of summer in 2025, also known as the summer solstice, will be Friday, June 20th.
The summer solstice or estival solstice[i] occurs when one of Earth's poles has its maximum tilt toward the Sun. It happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere (Northern and Southern). The summer solstice is the day with the longest period of daylightand shortest night of the year in that hemisphere, when the sun is at its highest position in the sky. At either polethere is continuous daylight at the time of its summer solstice. The opposite event is the winter solstice.
