How I deecode Pool's code strings is using hashing functions.

I use what I call consonant partnering. My optimal word is trash. Partner letters tr sh st th

I deduced pleat from trash by using the most likely partner letters. If t is not the first letter then it's unlikely to be the second as it' s partners ts th tr do not belong therefore making the most likely place the 5th space. A is not the middle letter therefore only leaving two likely spots 2nd and 4th. At this stage I want to try another vowel and the most likely is e. E partners nicely with a in a five letter word so I deduced eat as being likely. Pleat then sprang to mind. P and pl making a popular five letter word partner.... Sorry had to get that off my chest.. my strategy seems to be working well so far. Plenty of true guesses for the second try. Do you play wordle? Have you any insights into what David's driving at? I'll let you know if I find anything.
