trade[XYZ] (also styled trade.xyz or Trade.xyz) is a leading deployer of real-world-asset perpetual futures markets on the Hyperliquid blockchain via its HIP-3 framework. It offers cash-settled, USDC-margined perpetual contracts (no expiry date) on equities (e.g., NVIDIA, Tesla, Alphabet), equity indices (including an officially licensed S&P 500 perpetual), commodities, FX, and related assets. These markets trade 24/7 and are currently available primarily to non-U.S. users. In a little over a year they have surpassed $650 billion in cumulative volume. Markets typically appear with an “xyz:” prefix.⁠

ICE (Intercontinental Exchange), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange and other major exchanges and clearinghouses, is partnering with trade[XYZ]. ICE is making a strategic investment in the company and will serve as the exclusive operator of the regulated U.S. markets. Subject to CFTC approval, they plan to establish a new dedicated retail-focused market and clearing structure built on Hyperliquid infrastructure. This would offer KYC/AML-compliant 24/7 perpetual futures on equities, indices, commodities, FX, crypto, and other real-world assets to U.S. traders, with distribution expected through brokers and platforms (including potentially via ICE’s joint venture with OKX). The new business is intended to operate separately from ICE’s core institutional futures franchise.⁠

Hyperliquid is a high-performance decentralized perpetuals exchange. HIP-3 allows independent builders/deployers (who stake HYPE tokens) to launch their own markets on Hyperliquid’s infrastructure; Hyperliquid handles matching, margin, and settlement while the deployer designs the products and price feeds.

In short, Druckenmiller is publicly endorsing and investing in trade[XYZ] while highlighting the significance of bringing these continuous, Hyperliquid-based perpetual markets onshore under ICE’s regulated framework. He also expresses interest in using the product himself as a trader. This is widely viewed as a notable bridge between traditional finance (ICE/NYSE) and crypto-native perpetual infrastructure.

In the modern day, the White House is decorated for Halloween each October, but did you know that tradition began with First Lady Mamie Eisenhower? In 1958, she transformed the Executive Mansion with pumpkins, dried cornstalks, and skeletons hanging from wall sconces, creating the first publicly documented White House Halloween display. Since then, Halloween celebrations at the White House have expanded, particularly during administrations with young children.
