Trumpet 🎺 Biblical

1. The Shofar (Ram's Horn)
Used for centuries in ancient Israel, the shofar was primarily an instrument of alarm, warning, and spiritual awakening.
•The Fall of Jericho: In Joshua 6, the walls of Jericho miraculously collapsed after Joshua’s priests blew the trumpets and the people shouted.
•Coronation & Alarms: It was blown to signal the anointing of kings, to gather the troops for battle, and to announce the New Moon.

2. The Silver Trumpets
Described in Numbers 10, God instructed Moses to make two hammered silver trumpets.
•Gathering the Assembly: They were used by the priests to summon the community and to signal when the Israelites should break camp and move the Tabernacle.
•Battle & Festivals: The silver trumpets were blown during times of war to seek God's deliverance, as well as on joyous occasions and at appointed religious festivals.

3. The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah)
Detailed in Leviticus 23:23-25, this holy day was marked by the blowing of trumpets. It served as a memorial and a day of rest, which Jewish tradition later associated with the High Holy Days and the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah.

4. The Seven Trumpets of Revelation
