Robert Mueller, former FBI director and special counsel overseeing the Russia investigation, died on March 21, 2026.
Mueller was 81 years old at the time of his death.
His family told the New York Times in August 2025 that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2021.
The New York Times and MSNow reported Mueller's death.
President Donald J. Trump posted on social media saying, "Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!"
