The problem is once tether crashes, the value diminishes…when the value diminishes it buys less.

Also exchanges tend to “lock up” if it gets too crazy with liquidity.

Yea. That happened to me once. When UST and Luna was falling. The market was wild. Everyone was shorting everything. The exchange just locked up. People couldn’t off-ramp any coins etc.

I am afraid it will be similar when tether crashes. Peoples assets will be held hostage.

Some scary shit (excuse my language). But it’s down right terrifying because no one can do anything about it.

I would say a fairly safe opinion is buy as coins are low. Which most are 40-50% less than just 5 weeks ago.

Start sending to any cold wallets you have now.

If you want to risk it (assets maybe or maybe not being locked on an exchange)….then maybe hedge your risk and just do 1/5 of your funds.

So if you saved up $1000 to invest in coins because you believe the info people have shared…..then maybe keep $200 on an exchange to buy when the market truly implodes.

If the exchange you are on happens to lock up….then only $200 is held hostage and not $1000.

This is just an opinion, not financial advise, just my sole opinion.
