My prediction of probable topics for 2024 Ethics Paper:

1) Election Issues: Poll Freebies, Hate Speech, Social Media Persuasion & Influence, Electoral Bonds, Mob Violence

2) Abortion

3) Euthanasia

4) Partial Rule of Law

5) Artificial Intelligence

6) Exam Cheating

I expect good number of questions on applied ethics issues as last year paper was theoretical.

19th Ethics Session tmrw i.e. 26-07-24.

It deals with Section-A theoretical, interlinked and applied ethics questions. I will discuss CSE-23 Questions and few CSE-22 Questions in approaches that I have taught during the course. It is like a consolidation class wherein exclusive focus will be on answer writing. Do attend even if you have attended my Write Smart or MAP/MAP+ lectures. My 3 predictions for Ethics 2024 Paper:

In my 2 months of entering this field, I have always tried to enable Aspirants for them to be their own guides. Be it the use of ChatGPT for optionals or GS value addition, I have always stressed that coming to Delhi or to Coaching is not a panacea as I myself cleared this exam thrice with coaching only for optional.

It is a fact that at hubs like ORN, aspirants face exploitation at hands of multiple stakeholders. I was Aspirants first, then answer officer and then a mentor and I understand the game.

Me merely writing a condolence msg or indulging in word play won't serve anyone's good. Tragedy has already unfolded. I, just like you guys, would wish that it hadn't and that we don't see any such mishap ever.

While we already have taken care of disaster preparedness measures at Sarrthi, such incidents act as wakeup call to do further to ensure safety of all stakeholders including aspirants, staffs and self.

I hope justice is served and perpetrators are held accountable. May the departed souls rest in peace and may God give strength to their families to somehow bear this loss.

For people like you and me, let us not forget the issue in 2-3 days time and let us please report violations as we see them so that mishaps can be avoided.

Disrespect to rules by coaching, bureaucratic apathy in form of inaction on complaint, corruption nexus and poor enforcement of laws by various agencies. Received this WA forward last night. Posting it after it being confirmed by various news channels.
