☠️ Hackers were inside the infrastructure of Bitget for at least 25 days before stealing $388,000,000 — according to SlowMist, the first trace of the hack appeared back on August 31st through a vulnerability in a third-party security service.

Private keys were not stolen — attackers obtained internal credentials and forced the system to approve fake withdrawals itself.

Part of the stolen funds were then moved through CoW Protocol, Chainflip, and other cross-chain services.
