Story up: my art was stolen and resold as a commission on X.

You know, I've always solved such issues not publicly, but here I just don't have any words, I'm more and more surprised at the audacity!

❗️Attention, scam!

In connection with a recent incident where my art was stolen and resold as commission by this account @axophor_here, I investigated similar accounts.

They have the same persistent manner to propose the commissioning from them and, the most important, have in the profile few works for "their clients" of different quality and style. Some of works are even not changed and taken from other artists.

While considering a commission from an unknown artist, feel free to ask their works, since even if they publish a few, there are always much more that they can share to prove!

These accounts comment, repost, and communicate with real accounts and each other to imitate the real ones. You may check the "can we chat in DM" or other similar requests in the search bar and find a lot of very similar suspicious profiles.

Do not hesitate to help small new artists and commission them. They have a lot to share! Just check everything before you commission anyone 💙
