Military Medicine Specialists Convene at BSMU to Discuss SVO Care
Leading military medicine specialists from Russia's Volga Federal District are at Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) for a two-day conference.
Focusing on "Modern approaches to military medicine through the eyes of a civilian doctor," the event addresses current issues in SVO medical care.
Participants are discussing first aid for combat injuries, modern treatment of gunshot wounds, and rehabilitation for SVO participants.
BSMU Rector Pavlov Valentin Nikolaevich highlighted the university's SVO support and tactical medicine training creation.
He stated, the aim is to train all citizens, schoolchildren included, to provide assistance and reduce battlefield mortality.
The conference is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
