[God has plans for you]
If you ask God for patience,

He will slow things down

until you’re frustrated

and

learn from it.

Don’t waste your time like me 😭
Special characters matter: if your DB password contains @, encode it or change it. it will break your connection string.
If you’re using an ORM (like Prisma), this error will waste hours.
This is my third time hitting it… and I still forget. My God.

Tiny tip (so future-you doesn’t suffer):

@ → %40

: → %3A

So there I was in church, trying to pray properly and be calm, when my brain decided it was a great time to start a tech brainstorming session. Out of nowhere, this random idea popped into my head instead of the prayer.

I started thinking, What if I build a Telegram bot, wrap a small API around it, and just use Telegram as a database? I mean, messages are already stored in the cloud, right? Just send JSON, read JSON, and boom—free storage. No database setup, no deployment headaches, and no monthly bill reminding me that I’m broke.

The idea got way too serious way too fast. I was mentally designing schemas, thinking about performance, and wondering if Telegram would ever notice it was hosting my “production database.” At that point, my prayer had fully turned into a system design meeting that I definitely did not schedule.

Then I caught myself and thought, Wait… I’m in church. I laughed a little, pushed the idea aside, and went back to praying—telling myself that the tech ideas could wait until later, when I’m not supposed to be talking to God and my inner engineer at the same time.

Of course, the moment church ended and I stepped outside, everything disappeared. The architecture, the cost-saving plan—gone. Completely wiped from memory. All that remained was the vague feeling that I had once had a good idea… just not enough to remember what it was.
