🚨On the 10th of January. The SEC approved 11 Spot Bitcoin ETFs.

🧐How did it actually happen? 4 SEC commissioners were involved to vote either for or against the approval. Votes were at an equal 2-2 and Gary Gensler, the chairman voted for the approval making it 3-2.

🗺The 11 Spot Bitcoin ETFs are now listed and traded on NYSE Arca, Nasdaq, and Cboe BZX exchange.

📍Trading began on Thursday 11th of January.


👀This new era in Bitcoin's history is a clear step forward for mass adoption. The road is still early, as now for the first time, the largest regulator in the US has approved for Institutions to respond to client demand.
