My relatives in Pensacola are safe and have electricity! Praying for all those who don’t, and have a huge mess to clean up.

BREAKING UPDATE: Florida's Lt. Governor says Hurricane Isaias hit "like a freight train" and early reports are not dire.

More than 900,000 people evacuated, and he says it's "not worth the risk" for anyone who stayed.

About 300,000 customers are without power, with some power and radio damage reported so far.

The storm is already weakening to a Category 1 and moving fast, so we shouldn't see Hurricane Michael style flooding.

Florida has more than 5,000 National Guard members on standby, over 6,000 utility workers, and more than 1,000 generators ready.

Crews could be out as early as 3 AM once it clears.

The danger isn't over. Stay out of floodwater, and stay away from downed power lines.
