Dear Alumnus & Well Wishers,

As there is considerable amount of shortage of blood, a blood donation camp will be held at DBL on Sunday, 3rd October '21 from 9:30 AM to 2 PM.

Donating blood is the greatest gift a human can give to another, as blood cannot be manufactured but the scarcity can only be filled in by blood donation. Any healthy person between 18-65 years age, having a weight of 45 kgs and above who has Haemoglobin level of 12.5% can donate.

The camp is being organized by DBL Alumni, DBL Technical & DB Mirpara units. Let's come together to participate in this noble cause.

This is required and is being done keeping in mind the current times where we need to plan everything in advance.

_A little help with a little smile gives meaning to human life_

Dear friends, today we had the extended committee meeting for the above mentioned noble cause, albeit the numbers was comparatively less.

We have decided to arrange for the following items for distribution.
1. Rice -1000kgs
2. Dal - 100 kgs
3. Edible oil - 100 pouches of 1 litres
5. Salt - 50 kgs
6. Soyabean Bari ( nuggets ) - 200 packets
7. Biscuits - 200 packets @Rs10

We will be procuring all the items by this weekend, so we are able to send it on 31st. The budget will be around Rs 70,000 and we have decided to appeal members for donations for this cause.

We have already received 4000/- as a push towards the running of this campaign.

I would request members to come forward for the help. Even a small contribution from your ends would be a great help. We may need volunteers as well.

With the support and encouragement from our respected Salesians DBL Alumni is organizing LITTI CHOKHA & SNACKS NIGHT. Alumni members along with their family and friends are welcome. Charges per head have been kept Rs.150/-.

As we move on to normalcy, let's get together, gel together and savor the taste of mouth-watering snacks this Saturday, 26th February'22 at DBL from 6 pm onwards.
