Notes from the workbench: introducing Voltage Computer. VC is an 8 channel control voltage processor (4 in / 4 out) with 7 inch touchscreen powered by Raspberry Pi.

The enclosure is based on the excellent RPi Recovery Kit by @back7.co, extended with an MPC4728 quad DAC and ADS1015 quad ADC provided by @adafruit. CV is interfaced through Ethernet and can be broken out to the modular via a @doepfer_musikelektronik Multicore A-180-9.

Here the VC is running paint-lfo, an included Python app featuring four independent LFOs with touch drawable waveforms.

Crawl a été composé à l’aide d’un synthétiseur modulaire qu’il a fabriqué de ses propres mains, ce qui lui permet de développer un son très personnel. Ce disque est une déclaration d’amour à cet instrument à la fois psychédélique et futuriste. Il navigue entre grosses basses immersives et atmosphères abyssales, et oscille entre techno minimale et ambient. Avec son écriture harmonique et ses textures modulaires et analogiques, c’est une invitation à la découverte des profondeurs sonores.
