Gaza was once one of the most beautiful tourist cities in the world. The fragrant sea air of Gaza wafted, making the whole country bloom.

“Israel” transformed this picturesque, verdant city into a city of ruins. The view of Gaza, with its sea and surrounding buildings, was replaced by destruction, ash, and camps filling every corner of the city, and a foul stench drowning out the scent of the sea.
Prof. Mohamed Mahmoud Mehran said the 21,000+ children killed in Gaza since Oct 7, 2023 can’t be reduced to a statistic. Under international law, each death needs investigation.
Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office:

- 22,000 wounded and sick people in the Gaza Strip are in dire and urgent need of travel abroad for medical treatment.

- “Israel” is pursuing a policy of deliberate obstruction and slow death against patients by restricting medical evacuations.

- We demand the immediate and complete opening of the crossings to ensure that 1,000 wounded and sick people can travel daily to receive the necessary treatment and medical care.

- We call on the international community, the World Health Organization, and UN agencies to exert serious pressure on “Israel” to stop using the crossings as a tool of collective punishment and to facilitate procedures, removing the security complications that cost patients their lives.

He stressed they were unarmed children who only knew fear, not war. He condemned the attack as part of a broader war on Palestinian childhood, and criticized claims of an "army of morality." Al-Barsh said Lana and Bana were not just numbers, they had names, faces, and stolen dreams, and their images stand as evidence of an army that targets children and a world that watched without protection.

Videoll Among the Ruins, a Touch of Childhood

With much of childhood stripped away by war, two children in Gaza find a small moment of joy in an unlikely place: the wreckage of a semi-destroyed cart, left behind by an Israeli bombardment.

Amid the destruction, they turn the remains into a place to play, finding a fleeting piece of childhood where almost nothing has been left untouched.
