Today, I have been looking at some new indicators, never tested before here on DaviddTech.

Today's Indicators Selection:
Baseline Indicator: Geometric Mean Moving Average (GeoMin_MA)

Role: Serves to smooth out price action and identify the immediate trend direction. The unique calculation of the GeoMin_MA minimizes lag, making it ideal for detecting early signs of micro-trend reversals.

Confirmation Indicator: Detrended Synthetic Price (DSP) Oscillator
Role: Acts as the momentum oscillator, stripped of long-term trends to focus solely on price movements relevant to our trading timeframe. It confirms entry signals by identifying overbought or oversold conditions, signaling potential reversal points.

Volatility Indicator: Stiffness Indicator
Role: Assesses the market's rigidity or flexibility by measuring price deviation from a moving average. High stiffness values indicate a market less likely to change direction, whereas low values signal increased volatility and a higher likelihood of reversals.

Gotta love the name of this indicator.

I have been hard hitting the code this week and will have more updates for incubate.trade at the end of the week.

I have also almost finished the 30 day course version 2 (really just a big old documentation for all the products) which I hope to release next week. This should be a real help for anyone just getting started.

With all that I didn't have much time to code a new strategy for today so I did a quick run down of one of my other passive incomes.

As you may know I use DCA to DCA any USDT I made from trading, which was a real win for me giving me an average entry of $20k.

Hey @everyone, Looking forward to the weekend? After the 10% drop in BTC, some of us might need it to recover 😉.

This Wednesday, I ventured into something unusual that sparked an idea. "We've never backtested grid bots before". Remember that member who was making a killing with them? That inspired me to spend all night coding a grid bot for TradingView.

Grid bots can be a mixed bag, notorious for their boom-and-bust cycles depending on market movements. But here's the twist: we have the unique advantage of creating our own Grid bot, tailored to our needs and insights.

The indicator/strategy is in its early stages, but I’m exploring various tactics, like adjusting position sizing and experimenting with non-continuous grids, over the coming week.
