I know how much everybody loves filling out forms so I MADE YOU A NEW ONE!!!
We (I) actually read through your responses from last time and added more specific questions to see if other guild members share your concerns! Please fill it out, it would add much more weight to our complaints when we talk to the professors about changing something.

Once again, we will raffle cinema tickets among the respondents. One ticket will be raffled among everyone who answers before 20.00 (you have less than three hours... but the chances are pretty good!), and one more between everybody who answer before April 26th!

Now for the elephant in the room.... I promised to perform Material Girl by Madonna if the form got 30 responses last time. And I am not going to deny it - the form did. The performance WILL happen, but you gotta trust me on that. I will set the date before the next Pre(xam) party.

Moreover, it has proven to be an effective way of motivating you guys, so this time you can let me know directly through the form what you want me to do if the form reaches 30 responses. I WILL FILTER YOUR SUGGESTIONS (no oiling up and dancing to crazy frog), but I am open to ideas.

Fuksispeksis 2026

All of Otaniemi is invited to join the audience as the fuksis' peijaisteams present their spectacles in the Kaleva Hall of Dipoli on Tuesday, April 29th. Doors open at 14:30 and the performances begin at 15:00.

So come to Dipoli with a good sense of humor, a couple of up-to-date Omstart! shouts, and a generous dose of fuksi-spirit to enjoy the results of the fuksis' imagination, creativity, and hard work! However, please leave drinks stronger than a teekkari at home, as Dipoli is a licensed serving area.

If you can’t make it in person, you can settle onto your couch at home or at your guild room and watch the Polygame livestream.

After the speksis, the opening kick-off of Yöjäynä, Night Shift, and Tour De Walpuri will take place at Alvarin aukio at 20:00, sending the teams off toward the night’s challenges.

On Wappu Eve, come to Homebase (Ossinsauna) starting from 18:00 to enjoy some board games, delicious sima tasting, and of course a sauna session, so don’t forget to bring your sauna gear. We’ll also get a bit creative with champagne glass decorating (decorations provided by us!), so bring your own glass and make it uniquely yours for the celebrations ahead 🥂

On Wappu Day, we’ll head to Ullanlinna, with the schedule as follows:

🕑 14:00 - Time for skumppa and celebrating!

THE FUKSI COMMITTEE APPLICATION OF '26 IS FINALLY HERE MFSSS 🐉

The Fuksi Committee is responsible for creating the best Fuksi upbringing and support system possible. It will be chaired by myself, the Fuksi Captain, and composed necessarily of the Tutor Coordinator (@DataMommy), the Super Tutors (yet to be announced) and ordinary members.

As a member of this committee you will be part of greatness. However, great things require effort, and as such a certain level of activity is expected from each member. Don't hesitate to apply! Passion for Fuksi and Teekkari culture is what i'm lookin for first and foremost 😤

A couple of years ago, Aalto stopped awarding paper diplomas to graduates - you only receive a digital version of it by email. This is a widely unpopular decision, as, at the very least, paper diploma has great sentimental value. AYY is once again trying to discuss this decision with the university, and they asked us to share any reasons why a digital certificate is not enough in our opinion. For example, maybe in some countries paper certificates are still required by employers or universities, or maybe it is just bad for Aalto's image to not award its graduates with a proper symbol of graduation.
