if Kyle Rittenhouse was black, he would still not have been found guilty. A meta-analysis shows that white jurors had no bias against black defendants, but blacks had a pro-black or anti-white bias.

[PDF] Do they matter? A meta-analytic investigation of individual characteristics and guilt judgments. | Semantic Scholar
Many people believe the personal attributes of trial participants substantially impact the decisions of juries, and considerable research has examined the extent to which characteristics of jurors and defendants are associated with juror judgments of guilt.…

Meta-analyses are better than your average single study, but the effect sizes they produce are still roughly 3 times larger than those produced by well powered pre-registered studies
Comparing meta-analyses and preregistered multiple-laboratory replication projects. So yea, they are still pretty problematic and often not great evidence.

This study looked at a total of 526, 167 people in Sweden who were born between 1989-1993. Unsurprisingly, children of parents of the lowest income percentile were more likely to be convicted of a violent crime when compared to those born in a high-income percentile. However, the OR went below 1 after family variables were adjusted for. Showing poverty to have no causal correlation with crime.

We may need help with finding sources for an ultimate source doc library. Message Howard the Duck (Elder Quack) @eldquaw about finding sources for this distribution center. I personally am very busy, balancing article editing and finding sources is a multi-person job. I will always do my best to find sources to post here, staying persistent is our only option. When you find something, message me. Together we will win for our European family and that’s because truth is on our side. -Howard the Duck

A note about this study: the authors concluded that one cannot determine behavior from one’s face alone, but logic tells us that a gradient of behavior could be determined. If you walk up to somebody you may not be able to determine that they are a thief or an accountant. But if you new general trends from a certain demographic you could make a judgment call on the cusp of what most likely they could do.

“As one might expect from such research, genetic differences are related to brain structure and function, and these influences appear strongest for areas of the brain involved in language, attention, visual, emotional and sensorimotor processing”
Basically there are many differences between African American and White American cohorts, although the authors rightfully say that larger samples are needed, as it seems there aren’t enough studies exploring the differences of brain structure between these two groups.

Unisex changing rooms put women in danger
"Unisex changing rooms are more dangerous for women and girls than single-sex facilities, research by The Sunday Times shows. Almost 90% of reported sexual assaults, harassment and voyeurism in swimming pool and sports-centre changing rooms happen in unisex facilities, which make up less than half the total.
Gender-neutral changing is growing as councils seek to cut staff costs and cater to transgender people."

Swedish scientists prosecuted for finding that most rapes are committed by immigrants
"The published results show that immigrants are not only disproportionately overrepresented in rape cases, but despite being a minority in Sweden, they commit the vast majority of sexual violence. This is despite the fact that the study only analyzed cases between the period of 2000 and 2015, that is, before the enormous 2015 influx of migrants from the Middle East and Africa."

The Myth of Pervasive Misogyny
Contrary to expectations from the pervasive misogyny theory, across a variety of topics, samples, and research teams, recent findings in psychology suggest that such biases often favor women.
