Four pre-registered studies find that people who place a lot of trust in science are more likely than average to fall for false information presented as if it is scientific knowledge, as is the case with pseudoscience and academia-support propaganda.

"Mitchell et al. (2004) (also Mitchell 2005) meta-analyzed the relationship between race and criminal sentencing in America and concluded that the research suggests there is significant discrimination taking place against African Americans. The meta-analysis has numerous obvious shortcomings which make it uncompelling evidence of discrimination (e.g. publication bias is not sufficiently dealt with, the controls utilized in these studies are overly broad, continuous outcome variables are being unnecessarily dichotomized, etc.). A shortcoming which is not obvious is that the study may have misreported the findings of various papers so as to inflate the estimate of anti-black bias their meta-analysis produced."

No Change in California’s K-12 Performance Despite 60% Spending Increase Since 2011
The 60 percent increase in Kindergarten through 12th grade spending in California's schools, just since 2011, hasn't made a difference in student performance. And it's apparent the money isn't making it into the classroom.

Sweden’s migrant rape crisis
"According to the researchers, Swedish-born offenders with Swedish-born parents accounted for 40.8% of the offenders. But, strikingly, almost half of the offenders were born outside of Sweden (47.7%). Of those foreign-born offenders, 34.5% were from the Middle East/North Africa, with 19.1% hailing from the rest of Africa"
.
.
.
"How far does this signify over-representation? On the basis of population records kept by the official agency Statistics Sweden (SCB), approximately 20% (19.7%)"
.
.
.
"Moreover, if we piece various statistics together, we find there are 565,902 foreign-born people living in Sweden who were born in North Africa and the Middle East, representing 4.9% of Sweden’s population."

Review of an anti-IQ book
"Although cloaked as a history of intelligenceresearch, one gets the impression that Murdoch cameto this project with a deep-felt antagonism against thestudy of intelligence, especially the field's relationshipwith the study of eugenics. Consequently, he uses thistext as a platform for his anti-eugenicists opinions and,to a lesser degree, his agenda for abolishing IQ tests. However, when not ill-informed, Murdoch's ideas areneither original nor perspicacious, and his historiogra- phy is very undisciplined, which ultimately leaves thereader questioning the purpose of this treatise. Murdochwould have been better off entitling his book,
“Selected personal and historical anecdotes to show why I hateintelligence research, eugenics, and related ideas.”
It would be a much more accurate description of the work he produced, and would save the reader from any false expectations"

Correlations between estimates of state IQ and FBI crime statistics
"State IQ was significantly and negatively correlated with the violent crimes of murder, aggravated assault and robbery as well as the property crimes of motor vehicle theft, theft and burglary. Additionally, regression analyses were conducted for each crime significantly related to state IQ, controlling for significant state demographic variables."
