منذ تأسيسها في العام ١٩٩٥، كان ولا يزال منهاج مجموعة داؤود البحثية، ان تكون ارضاً خصبة مثمرة بالفرص، دانية للسائر وصاحب البستان سواء، كالأم الحنون تبذل صميمها لأبنائها فداً.

تستمر الرسالة، يأتي ويذهب الافراد، وتبقى مجموعة داؤود ويبقى الاثر.

يسرّ مكتب الأبحاث بمجموعة داؤود ان يعلن عن استئناف استقبال مقترحات الأبحاث العلمية، الأمر الذي كان ولا يزال من ركائز عمل المكتب التنفيذي.
وعليه، يتم رفع مقترحات الابحاث، للجنة مراجعة، مكونة من اعضاء مكتب الابحاث بمجموعة داؤود عبر الرابط ادناه:

As part of its activities, the Prof. Daoud Research Group in Cairo held a scientific session on Monday, July 8, 2024, in which a scientific paper titled "Epilepsy in Elderly Sudanese Patients" was discussed. The paper was presented by Prof. Abbasher Hussein Mohamed, the group's leader, in the presence of a distinguished audience of medical students from various universities, recent graduates, specialist trainees, and graduates of science and veterinary colleges. The session was enriched by the attendance and participation in the discussion by Dr. Abdul Monem Muhammad Ahmed, Prof. Ahmed Al-Jamal, Dr. Abdul Halim Omar, and Dr. Abdul Monem Abdul Qadir.

The presenter discussed the disease of epilepsy and its causes in elderly patients. He also talked about the clinical picture of the disease, how to diagnose it, and how to treat it.

The speaker emphasized the role of the physician in taking the patient's history and performing a clinical examination. He also talked about the role of EEG (electroencephalogram) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) of the head in diagnosis, as well as selecting the appropriate medication. Additionally, he discussed the side effects of medications and how to avoid them.

Continuing the academic and research activities of the Prof. Daoud Research Group in Cairo, Dr. Magdy Ishaq Ahmed, a consultant psychiatrist in the United Kingdom, delivered a lecture titled "Doctor-Patient Relationship from Psychodynamic & Subconscious Perspective." The lecture was attended by a number of medical students, recent graduates, and specialist residents. The presence of Dr. Abdel Halim Omar, Dr. Abdel Moneim Abdel Qader, Dr. Abdel Moneim Mohamed Ahmed, Prof. Ahmed El-Gamal, Prof. Absher Hussein, and Dr. Bushra El-Shafei significantly enriched the discussion.
