My Story

🌏 The World I've Chosen to Introduce

Cantoria is one of the kingdoms in my fictional universe.

The name Cantoria is made up of two parts:

Canto is a Spanish word meaning song or chant.

-ria is a suffix that gives the feeling of a land or realm.

Together, Cantoria can be interpreted as "The Land of Songs" or "The Realm of Melodies."

For now, I just want to introduce you to this land. Otherwise, if I tried to introduce my entire world all at once, it would probably get pretty confusing! 🌏✨

👨‍👩‍👦 Inhabitants

Cantoria is home to Furries, Anthros, and Kemonomimis.

The reason I chose these races is simple. Most of my artwork is created in a furry style, so this allows me to tell my characters' stories in a more natural and authentic way.

📝 Story

Many years ago, for reasons that are still unknown to everyone, Cantoria was swallowed by darkness.

From that darkness, creatures known as Dark Monsters emerged. These beings steal souls and disrupt the balance of the world.

From that day onward, the fight to save the kingdom began.

💀 Monsters

Common Type: Tenebrals

Pronunciation: Te-ne-brals

The name comes from the Latin word Tenebrae, meaning darkness, deep shadows, or gloom.

The -als suffix gives it the feeling of a species or race.

More Dangerous Type: Morovox

Pronunciation: Mor-o-vox

This is mostly a fictional name inspired by two roots:

Moro: Inspired by words associated with death, darkness, or nightmares (it doesn't have one specific literal meaning).

Vox: A Latin word meaning voice or song.


🏛 Organization

To fight this growing threat, an organization called the Resonance Authority (RA) was established.

The name consists of two words:

Resonance: Meaning resonance, reverberation, or harmonic vibration. In music, it describes a sound that echoes and grows stronger. In my world, Resonance is the magical force born from harmony and music.

Authority: Meaning an organization, institution, or governing body with power and responsibility.

As a result, the Resonance Authority is responsible for protecting Cantoria, training singers and musicians, managing operational teams, and researching the power of Resonance, which serves as the primary force used to battle the Dark Monsters.

The organization is divided into many different ranked divisions, including Research, Operations, Training, and more. The Operations Division also contains elite teams with higher ranks.

⚔ Combat Style

You might be thinking, "This sounds like My Little Pony!" 😭

Honestly... that's where the original inspiration began, but the world has grown into something much darker and far less cute.

When I talk about songs and rhythm, I don't necessarily mean singing.

Sometimes it simply means attacking according to a specific rhythm or timing.

Interestingly, after creating this concept, I discovered Hi-Fi Rush, and I have to admit that its combat style feels surprisingly similar to what I had imagined.


📖 Story Goal
The heroes' mission is to stop as many monsters as possible while searching for the source of the darkness and destroying it.

However, nearly 20 years have passed, and they still haven't succeeded.

The monsters constantly evolve, change forms, and become stronger.

They also appear to emerge from portals connected to another dimension.

Because of this, reaching and eliminating the true source has become an incredibly difficult task.
