Memory Verse: Matthew 25:23
Jesus taught a great deal about being a good servant which meant trusting in your lord in all situations. According to the Bible a good servant is one who places his master's will above his own life even. Now a faithful servant is one who keeps this faith in his master till his master returns or is called home so put together a good and faithful servant is one who trusts in his master and faithfully serves him in all affairs placed under his care, he is the one who truly loves his master and scripture says he will be given a crown of life promised to those who love God. Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Mighty Father, we are grateful for yet another day. Help us to be found good and faithful in all that you have placed under our care, may we watch and pray by the power of your wonderful Holy Spirit. Amen

The Lord is near the broken hearted

Memory Verse: Psalm 34:18
The scriptures has already lay a curse on the man who trusts in flesh or another man, the arm of flesh will definitely fail us but notwithstanding all this when we go through painful moments and difficult seasons, God assures us that He is close to us and that we never experience them alone. Even if we are crushed in spirit, the good lord draws near to us to deliver us from our troubles and pain. Be encouraged this morning that His presence goes with us in all circumstances.
