Good morning
A little reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out right now.

Some days you’ll be productive, some days you’ll barely get anything done. Both are part of the process.

Be a little kinder to yourself❤️

Random afternoon thought

How do games like Call of Duty have kill cams. It shows a short video of how you died in the shooter’s pov.

Is it recording the whole game and showing the clip before death? If it is and storing the whole game clip in memory, won’t it be overloaded in the case of infinite point and long game duration.

I genuinely have no idea how they do that. If you guys have any idea, let me know 👇
It’s coming…
Good morning ☀️

Your terminal, in your pocket.

Kiteline runs Claude Code on your own computer and puts every session on your phone. Self-hosted, open source.

When something is free, you are the product
Something has just started cooking 🔥

The problem with Companion testing is not easily fixable so it will be delayed unfortunately but it will be coming, until then let's start cooking
Good morning people
Well, I learned one thing last night: you try, and sometimes you fail.

I had a great idea I'd wanted to build for a while, so I finally started working on it. I read documentation, explored how things worked under the hood, and eventually realized that what I had planned wouldn't work the way I imagined.

But honestly, it was a really insightful journey. I got to actually read documentation and understand how things work behind the scenes instead of just using tools without knowing much about their internals.

It might seem like a waste of time and energy, especially considering I was up until 3 AM 😭, but I learned a lot.

The project didn't work out, but the experience was worth it.

Back to the drawing board!

Things I Got Wrong as a dev (Part 1)

• Building a side project and building a real product are two completely different things. and I believe one can only understand the difference by actually doing it.

• At scale, there's no such thing as a simple software product. Even a basic todo app serving millions of users is far more complex than your fancy side project.

Kiteline went from 0.1.0 to 0.3.3 today

Here's what shipped :

Shipped // Live right now

- No more cloning the repo and setting everything up yourself, it's one command now: npx kiteline --relay
- Reach your computer from anywhere, through my own relay, sealed end to end
- No complicated Tailscale setup, everything connects automatically
- Pairing like Bluetooth: one-time codes, 6 matching digits, you approve every device
- Every device gets its own key: see them all, remove one and it's cut off instantly
- /effort picker on the phone, same as in Claude Code
- Runs in the background and starts with your computer
- Added Kiteline to my portfolio, seefun.dev

Still cooking // Up next

- Background mode is Linux only, Mac & Windows next
