Is it for me or for everyone? It's very rare to meet someone who was there with you at that time, unless you went to the same university or even if you're in the same town It's very rare to meet them

TIKVAH-ETHIOPIA
The story is all about this Tikvah post.
You may ask, "So what does Kassdag have to do with this post?" Well, I was there. I was one of the people on that minibus.
I know one of my friends will probably be upset if he sees this because he doesn't like talking about the bad things that happened in the past. He might think we're bringing those memories back again. But I promised myself that I would share what I learned from that day with my generation 😁
Nothing funny though. I don't see myself acting like Kumnegregn.
So here is the story.
It was መስከረም 7, 2018. Before that day, I went to the wereda office to get my TIN number. Y'all know how it is if you're still a campus student. There were a lot of students there, so I went back home thinking I would return early in the morning and get it done quickly.
But things didn't go according to plan. Plans are only what we want to do on paper. Reality doesn't always agree.
So I woke up early and headed to the taxi tera. We started our trip to the wereda (Gulele). Then suddenly, bro, the driver didn't even check whether the minibus was in good condition. Around Menen, behind AAU 5 Kilo Campus on the road to Piassa, merew alsera belese. 🤧
Instead of hitting the wall and saving us, bro chose to keep going all the way to Afencho Ber and threw us down into the new *colder Lemat gedel*
Everybody was screaming.
Bruh, the only person who wasn't showing any reaction was me. I didn't even say a single word. Somehow I even forgot to call on God.
After the crash, as you can see from the post, the car looked like a sandwich. Believe it or not, I was the only person who didn't get a single scratch. My legs got stuck between the front-row seats because they were crushed, but somehow I wasn't injured.
When I finally got out, I saw what looked like a dead body. Bruh, it was my first time seeing something like that.
And the worst part? She was about to graduate the next day. She was supposed to collect her graduation gown. But she was gone. And we are same hood
My T-shirt was covered in people's blood.
I managed to climb out and many people *mekbebi * you know, Habesha mode
I asked several people if I could use their phones to call my dad. Bruh, I was covered in blood, but most people didn't give a f**k. They kept asking me stupid questions instead.
Finally, someone helped me and I called my father.
Before he arrived, the ambulance had already taken me inside.
Think about it
I'm covered in blood and sitting in an ambulance.
What do you think my father was thinking?
Bro, I had never seen my father cry in front of me. He didn't even cry in front of us when my grandmother passed away.
As soon as I saw him, I jumped out of the ambulance to show him I was okay.
But he couldn't stop crying.
From that day on, here's what I realized:
• Don't be f**king selfish like the driver *Lerasum alhon eko* After being taken to the hospital, he died
• You think your father is strong? Oh boy, he's just pretending. He carries a lot of things behind the scenes. My father suddenly let all of that emotion out without even realizing it. Since that day, everything I do is to make him proud. I won't do anything he strongly disagrees with. Even if I had a girlfriend 😂, he would have to like her before I moved forward with marriage.
• Bro, touch some grass and socialize with people. Before that day, I only thought about making money. I barely made friends during campus life. This year I tried harder, and I'll keep improving
• Nothing you do is worth more than your life. I'm telling you, nothing is worth your life. Look at the girl from the accident. She spent almost 15–16 years in school but passed away before she could even enjoy life. I've seen so many grinding quotes online, but reality is different. Those quotes don't mean much when life suddenly stops

• Put family first, and value people with kind hearts. During that time, only a few people truly had my back. The others didn't give a f**k. Imagine seeing someone covered in blood and deciding to take pictures and videos instead of helping
• Last but not least, at your lowest point in life, you'll discover who is real. Trust me. You may have 100ሺ achebchabei, but I bet fewer than 10 will actually stand beside you when things go wrong
I don't know if all of this makes sense, but whenever you see me posting about ዝክረ መስከረም 7, it means I'm commemorating that day and thanking God for giving me a second chance to live
My family called me ዳግም for a reason. That's my real name for those who don't know me
Peace out 🙌

Lesson Of The Day V18.0
For the past year, I’ve sat with myself every single night to ask: What did today teach me? I’ve shared those whispers with you here and as my 18th year comes to an end I wanted to wrap them all up into a gift for you. I’ve collected every single lesson including the ones from my breaks in April and May into this book.
I hope you can open it to any page and find a little bit of light or comfort for your own day. Make sure to listen to the custom YouTube music playlist I made for you while reading through the pages.
If these lessons have been a companion to you and you’d like to keep the tea warm while I write the next book, you can support my journey here ☕️
I’m so incredibly grateful to have you all in my world. The book is officially yours😊 consider it birthday gift i gave y'all
