I need to finish this project today as much as possible, but I have to confess something that’s been stuck in my mind. I tried to hold it in, but I need to መተፈስ and get back to work.
Yesterday I realized something about this guy I’ve been telling people is “x is my man.” Turns out he’s not. He’s been getting jealous over every small win I have — not even big ones, just the tiny stuff. I’m always ready to help him, but his behavior is off, and I don’t know how to pretend anymore. I just want to get away from this environment for a while. Thank God for this internship.
One thing i always regret in my all campus life is i never learned how to socialize
Ain't have a ጀማ ain't got nobody got my back except those harerega ppls living out side recently i lived with them

5 points I learned from this pre-internship training and the capstone project competitions:
- Start anything even if it’s just a todo app by initializing Git. Use Git every single time
- Don’t ignore AI tools. Someone else will use them and pass you easily
- Time matters more than you think
- Build the basic features first before you chase the fancy ones
- Learn how to work with people. Teamwork wins. Trying to do everything alone doesn’t

Session 1 eps 1 / Trying 1: getting a paid physical dev position.
In this digital era everyone shares their success, but some of us are trying to share our trials. If it teaches someone something, good. I don’t think success matters if we hide the pain and the process.
So let’s start.
I saw one opportunity and applied. I passed to the next round and they gave me a task, due Feb 6 at 12 LT.
I thought I would finish it in one day. They gave me the task on Wednesday. I lost two days not really wasted, I was just moving from Harar to Addis. As soon as I reached home I didn’t even rest. I went straight to the Abrehot library and started working on the project from Thursday night till Friday. But bro, I didn’t finish it. I asked them for one extra day but they still haven’t replied.
The project is stuck as it is. I guess I failed the second round.
So the takeaway for you guys is:
Respect the deadline. Life can get messy and things come up, but most companies won’t wait
