HK-style cha siu is actually not difficult to make at home. Just takes time & causes a wonderful aroma in the house.
Pork ribs & prawn mee soup. Succulent prawns & rich prawn broth (without MSG). Ribs take 1hr to cook, other than that take less than 20min. (Tip: freeze prawn heads from other stir fry occasions, they are worth taking up space in your freezer) #homecookingideas
Yee Fu mee with braised duck (with my mala chilli oil). Here’s another #homecookingideas. I used the pressure cooker, so total takes me about 30min. Actually, you can just pan fry the sliced duck, that will save some time. There are 2 popular brands of Yee Fu mee, I like the one you see here, super fragrant. Cook it like instant noodles.
Hainanese pork chop & cabbage with bean curd skin. Jus marinate the meat for 1hr, then coat & cook, about 5min per piece. Eat it plain or make a tomatoes & peas sauce to go with it. #homecookingideas #comfortfood #kidsloveit

Made these beauties prawn dumplings for our family & extra for re-opening. So fat that I can’t make folds. Supposed to made double the number of dumplings, but too fat. Ha ha. #prawnsgoodness. Will add black fungus next batch, should give them a very nice crunch.
