From last few weeks before the social media ban,
Nepalese social media was flooded with such content where there was exploos corruption, the mentions of ministers etc
Everything was public.
So to censor that information, they banned social media which contained the info of the corrupt officials etc.
That's why genz came out for the protest.
It's like emergency era if one has to draw far parallel where Hon. Indira Gandhi imposed emergency just to overturn Allahabad HC's decision.
No place for such tendencies in a functioning democracies
