Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, ResponseCookie.render writes attacker-influenced name, content, domain, path, and extension values without neutralizing semicolons or control characters. An application that constructs a ResponseCookie from unvalidated input can therefore emit injected cookie attributes such as Domain, Path, or SameSite, widening cookie scope or weakening protections, and control characters may enable header splitting on permissive backends. The patch strips control characters from all five fields and strips semicolons from name, content, domain, and path while retaining the extension delimiter behavior. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Emberβs chunk decoder trims the chunk-size token and accepts leading plus or minus signs instead of requiring one or more hexadecimal digits followed by the required CRLF. When an intermediary forwards chunked data without re-encoding and interprets malformed chunk boundaries differently, an unauthenticated attacker can create TE.TE request smuggling that bypasses intermediary controls, poisons caches, or hijacks the request queue. The same response-path leniency can enable response smuggling against an ember-client used as a gateway when the upstream is malicious or compromised. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Emberβs HTTP/1.1 parser accepts differing duplicate Content-Length headers and uses the last value instead of rejecting the message. When an Ember server is behind a keep-alive intermediary that selects a different occurrence, an unauthenticated attacker can create CL.CL request smuggling that bypasses front-end controls, captures a later userβs headers, or poisons a cache. The shared client parser can also misframe responses from a malicious or compromised upstream when the client acts as a proxy for multiple downstream consumers. `tts-be` is a backend for a timetable selector that aims to help students better choose their class schedules. Versions prior to 2.1.0 have a Broken Access Control vulnerability across several API endpoints (such as `/api/student/{id}/photo` and `/api/course_unit/{id}/exchange/metadata`). By chaining these unauthenticated endpoints, a remote attacker can use the backend as an open proxy to bypass authorization checks, allowing for the enumeration and extraction of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from upstream university systems. The exposed data includes full names, student IDs, class schedules, and photos. This issue was fixed in version 2.1.0.

A flaw was found in the file-psd plugin in GIMP. When generating a thumbnail preview for a specially crafted PSD (Photoshop Document) image file, an integer overflow occurs during the multiplication of values from an embedded JPEG header. This leads to an undersized heap allocation, resulting in a heap-based buffer overflow when the image data is decoded. This buffer overflow corrupts adjacent heap objects, allowing for a controlled memory write that can result in an application crash or arbitrary code execution.

On affected platforms running Arista EOS, when multiple gRPC Network Security Interface (gNSI) transports are configured, a race condition in the gNSI Authz service may cause a policy rotation to fail silently. An authenticated user whose access was revoked by the new policy may retain unauthorized access to gRPC interfaces. This does not affect Bootz.
This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks.

fastify is a fast and low-overhead web framework for Node.js. In versions before 5.12.5, when a route registers a response trailer via reply.trailer() and is served over HTTP/2, fastify unconditionally sets the Transfer-Encoding: chunked header, which is forbidden on HTTP/2, so Node.js throws while serializing the response headers. The exception is not caught and becomes an uncaughtException, so a single unauthenticated HTTP/2 request to any route that uses trailers crashes the server process and drops all in-flight requests, and it can be repeated on every restart. The issue is fixed in fastify 5.12.5, and users should upgrade to 5.12.5 or later. As a workaround, avoid registering response trailers with reply.trailer() on routes served over HTTP/2 until upgrading.
