🚨 CVE-2026-6876
ServiceNow has remediated a sandbox escape security issue that was identified in the Now Platform. This security issue could allow an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code within the Now Platform, potentially leading to more access to the Now Platform than intended.  





ServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and ServiceNow provided the update to our partners and self-hosted customers. We are not currently aware of malicious exploitation against ServiceNow instances. 



We recommend customers promptly apply appropriate updates or upgrade to a patched release if they have not already done so.

Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows a remote client to read internal field names that an application configured its error_handler to redact.

In AshGraphql.Errors, each error is passed to the configured error_handler and the returned map is merged with the pre-handler path via Map.put_new(handled, :path, path). Because put_new defers to the handler only when the handler itself set :path, a sanitizing handler that returns a fresh map or deletes :path has that decision reverted. The re-injected path comes from build_error_path/5, which falls back to raw internal Ash attribute and argument names when no field_names mapping is configured. A validation failure on a non-exposed or nested field therefore returns internal names in the GraphQL error path, defeating the application's redaction.

This issue affects ash_graphql: from 1.9.0 before 1.11.0.

🚨 CVE-2026-81633
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to crash a relay node(id: ...) query with an unhandled KeyError.

AshGraphql.Graphql.Resolver.resolve_node/2 decodes the client-supplied global ID with decode_relay_id/1, which only base64-decodes the string and splits it on : without validating the type segment. The decoded type is passed straight to Map.fetch!(type_to_domain_and_resource_map, type). Because fetch! raises on a missing key, a relay ID whose type segment is a valid atom that is not a relay-exposed type aborts the resolver before its resolve/2 clauses and their rescue handlers run, so the error never becomes a GraphQL error and may expose a stacktrace. Common resource names are easy to guess. The fix uses Map.fetch/2 and returns an Invalid node id error for unknown types.

This issue affects ash_graphql: from 0.27.0 before 1.11.0.

🚨 CVE-2026-81636
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to bypass the configured GraphQL query-complexity limit and force an unbounded database read.

AshGraphql.Graphql.Resolver.query_complexity/3 multiplies child complexity by the requested page size only when the argument map contains :limit (offset pagination). Relay connections and keyset pagination use first and last, which never match that clause and fall through to the catch-all that returns child_complexity + 1. A nested relay query such as posts(first: 500) { edges { node { comments(first: 500) { ... } } } } therefore scores as trivially cheap while materializing the full fan-out, passing an Absinthe max_complexity cap that rejects the equivalent limit-based query. The fix adds first and last clauses clamped to the action's page size.

This issue affects ash_graphql: from 0.16.23 before 1.11.0.

🚨 CVE-2026-81643
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql delivers GraphQL subscription payloads for records a subscriber is not authorized to see.

In AshGraphql.Subscription.Batcher, do_send/5 resolves the first notification of a batch and filters it with should_send?/1, which drops results whose errors are coded forbidden or not_found or carry no code, precisely so that unauthorized results are not disclosed. The remaining notifications in the batch are read from the process dictionary, re-run through the pipeline, and appended to the outgoing results without that filter. They reach pubsub.publish_subscription/2, and the not is_nil(record) guard drops only nil records, not error-carrying results. Any two qualifying notifications arriving within the default one-second batch interval suffice, and batching is the default path. The fix applies should_send?/1 to the whole batch.

🚨 CVE-2026-77956
Improper Control of Generation of Code (Code Injection) vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a remote, unauthenticated client to execute arbitrary Elixir code.

AshAi.Actions.Prompt evaluates prompt content through EEx.eval_string/2. The documented prompt: fn input, context -> ... end form lets the prompt content be built from action arguments, so when a prompt action's text incorporates request data, that attacker-controlled text is compiled and run as an EEx template (Elixir source). Content such as <%= System.cmd(...) %> therefore executes on the server before any model request is made, requiring no authentication beyond reaching a prompt action. The fix stops evaluating function-supplied prompt content as EEx; only statically configured templates are evaluated.

This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.1.0 before 1.0.0.

🚨 CVE-2026-81315
Origin Validation Error vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a malicious web page to bypass the MCP server's DNS-rebinding protection and issue cross-site requests to a user's local MCP server with that user's actor.

In AshAi.Mcp.Server, with the default allowed_origins: nil, origin_allowed?/3 accepts an origin when uri.host == conn.host and the forwarded scheme is https. Both values are attacker-controlled: conn.host comes from the Host header and the scheme is read from the raw x-forwarded-proto header with no trusted-proxy check. Under DNS rebinding the browser sends the attacker's origin and a matching host, and page JavaScript may set X-Forwarded-Proto: https, so the check passes with no TLS or proxy involved. The fix trusts only localhost origins by default; other origins require an explicit allowed_origins allowlist.

This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.8.0 before 1.0.0.

🚨 CVE-2026-75760
Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai discloses provider request state and credentials in a user-facing validation error.

In AshAi.Changes.Vectorize, when the embedding provider call fails the change added a changeset error whose message inspected the raw error term (An error occurred while generating embeddings: #{inspect(error)}). A plain-string add_error produces an Ash.Error.Changes.InvalidChanges in the :invalid class, which AshJsonApi and AshGraphql render back to the caller. The embedding client's error term is not sanitized, so it can carry the request URL, the provider response body, and, for HTTP clients that keep the request in the error struct, the outbound Authorization header with the provider API key. Failures are attacker-reachable via oversized or malformed vectorized content. The fix logs the raw error and returns a generic message.

🚨 CVE-2026-82564
Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key vulnerability in ash-project ash_ai allows a caller of an identity-configured tool to update or destroy records it never identified, including every row in the table.

In AshAi.Tool.Execution, identity_filter/3 built the update/destroy filter directly from the raw tool arguments as [{key, Map.get(arguments, to_string(key))}] and passed it to Ash.Query.do_filter/2. A map value is parsed as a predicate expression rather than a literal, so a caller can send {"public_ref": {"not_eq": "<own-ref>"}} and, combined with Ash.Query.limit(1) and Ash.bulk_update!/Ash.bulk_destroy!, retarget the write at a record it never identified; an omitted key yields an IS NULL filter that matches an arbitrary row. The fix casts each identity value to the field type, rejecting non-scalar inputs.

This issue affects ash_ai: from 0.6.0 before 1.0.0.
