A flaw was found in the GIF parser of GdkPixbuf’s LZW decoder. When an invalid symbol is encountered during decompression, the decoder sets the reported output size to the full buffer length rather than the actual number of written bytes. This logic error results in uninitialized sections of the buffer being included in the output, potentially leaking arbitrary memory contents in the processed image.

🚨 CVE-2025-6019
A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability was found in libblockdev. Generally, the "allow_active" setting in Polkit permits a physically present user to take certain actions based on the session type. Due to the way libblockdev interacts with the udisks daemon, an "allow_active" user on a system may be able escalate to full root privileges on the target host. Normally, udisks mounts user-provided filesystem images with security flags like nosuid and nodev to prevent privilege escalation. However, a local attacker can create a specially crafted XFS image containing a SUID-root shell, then trick udisks into resizing it. This mounts their malicious filesystem with root privileges, allowing them to execute their SUID-root shell and gain complete control of the system.

A flaw was found in the libssh library in versions less than 0.11.2. An out-of-bounds read can be triggered in the sftp_handle function due to an incorrect comparison check that permits the function to access memory beyond the valid handle list and to return an invalid pointer, which is used in further processing. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to potentially read unintended memory regions, exposing sensitive information or affect service behavior.

A flaw was found in libssh when using the ChaCha20 cipher with the OpenSSL library. If an attacker manages to exhaust the heap space, this error is not detected and may lead to libssh using a partially initialized cipher context. This occurs because the OpenSSL error code returned aliases with the SSH_OK code, resulting in libssh not properly detecting the error returned by the OpenSSL library. There's a vulnerability in the libssh package where when a libssh consumer passes in an unexpectedly large input buffer to ssh_get_fingerprint_hash() function. In such cases the bin_to_base64() function can experience an integer overflow leading to a memory under allocation, when that happens it's possible that the program perform out of bounds write leading to a heap corruption.
This issue affects only 32-bits builds of libssh.

When audit logging is enabled, the create_masked_entry_string() function in auditlog.c copies a fixed-length password mask into a precisely-sized heap buffer without checking available space. If a short cleartext password is logged (requiring non-default CLEAR password storage or a compromised replication peer), the copy overflows the buffer, corrupting heap memory and audit log output.

A stack buffer overflow flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The checkPrefix() function in pw.c copies an attacker-controlled algorithm ID into a 256-byte stack buffer without bounds checking when parsing reversible-encrypted attribute values. An attacker with Directory Manager privileges can crash the LDAP server by storing a crafted credential with an oversized algorithm ID. FORTIFY_SOURCE mitigates this to denial of service only.

🚨 CVE-2026-11774
An integer overflow flaw was found in the SASL I/O layer of 389 Directory Server (389-ds-base). In sasl_io_start_packet(), adding sizeof(uint32_t) to a crafted SASL packet length prefix of 0xFFFFFFFC causes unsigned wraparound to zero, bypassing the nsslapd-maxsasliosize limit and leading to a heap buffer overflow of up to approximately 2 megabytes of attacker-controlled data. After a successful SASL bind with integrity protection (SSF > 0), a remote attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE). In FreeIPA and Red Hat Identity Management deployments, any domain user with a valid Kerberos ticket, enrolled host, or service account can trigger this vulnerability over the network. This flaw is independent of CVE-2025-14905, which patched schema.c only and did not modify sasl_io.c.

During schema reload, the attr_syntax_swap_ht() function unconditionally frees attribute syntax information nodes, bypassing the refcount-based deferred deletion used elsewhere in the attribute syntax subsystem. If an administrator triggers schema reload while concurrent LDAP query traffic is active, worker threads may access freed memory, resulting in use-after-free or double-free and a denial of service (server crash).

🚨 CVE-2026-49432
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ, Apache ActiveMQ All, Apache ActiveMQ Stomp.

A remote unauthenticated peer that can reach an exposed STOMP connector can trigger denial-of-service behavior by sending a negative content-length. For the NIO STOMP transport, an attacker can keep streaming body bytes and grow the per-connection command buffer beyond configured limits to cause OOM. For the blocking STOMP protocol, an error will instead force abnormal transport exception handling for the affected connection and closure.
This issue affects Apache ActiveMQ: before 5.19.8, from 6.0.0 before 6.2.7; Apache ActiveMQ All: before 5.19.8, from 6.0.0 before 6.2.7; Apache ActiveMQ Stomp: before 5.19.8, from 6.0.0 before 6.2.7.




Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.2.7 or 5.19.8, which fixes the issue.
