๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-31421
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net/sched: cls_fw: fix NULL pointer dereference on shared blocks

The old-method path in fw_classify() calls tcf_block_q() and
dereferences q->handle. Shared blocks leave block->q NULL, causing a
NULL deref when an empty cls_fw filter is attached to a shared block
and a packet with a nonzero major skb mark is classified.

Reject the configuration in fw_change() when the old method (no
TCA_OPTIONS) is used on a shared block, since fw_classify()'s
old-method path needs block->q which is NULL for shared blocks.

The fixed null-ptr-deref calling stack:

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net/sched: cls_flow: fix NULL pointer dereference on shared blocks

flow_change() calls tcf_block_q() and dereferences q->handle to derive
a default baseclass. Shared blocks leave block->q NULL, causing a NULL
deref when a flow filter without a fully qualified baseclass is created
on a shared block.

Check tcf_block_shared() before accessing block->q and return -EINVAL
for shared blocks. This avoids the null-deref shown below:

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43425
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

usb: image: mdc800: kill download URB on timeout

mdc800_device_read() submits download_urb and waits for completion.
If the timeout fires and the device has not responded, the function
returns without killing the URB, leaving it active.

A subsequent read() resubmits the same URB while it is still
in-flight, triggering the WARN in usb_submit_urb():

"URB submitted while active"

Check the return value of wait_event_timeout() and kill the URB if
it indicates timeout, ensuring the URB is complete before its status
is inspected or the URB is resubmitted.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43426
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

usb: renesas_usbhs: fix use-after-free in ISR during device removal

In usbhs_remove(), the driver frees resources (including the pipe array)
while the interrupt handler (usbhs_interrupt) is still registered. If an
interrupt fires after usbhs_pipe_remove() but before the driver is fully
unbound, the ISR may access freed memory, causing a use-after-free.

Fix this by calling devm_free_irq() before freeing resources. This ensures
the interrupt handler is both disabled and synchronized (waits for any
running ISR to complete) before usbhs_pipe_remove() is called.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43427
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

usb: class: cdc-wdm: fix reordering issue in read code path

Quoting the bug report:

Due to compiler optimization or CPU out-of-order execution, the
desc->length update can be reordered before the memmove. If this
happens, wdm_read() can see the new length and call copy_to_user() on
uninitialized memory. This also violates LKMM data race rules [1].

Fix it by using WRITE_ONCE and memory barriers.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43424
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

usb: gadget: f_tcm: Fix NULL pointer dereferences in nexus handling

The `tpg->tpg_nexus` pointer in the USB Target driver is dynamically
managed and tied to userspace configuration via ConfigFS. It can be
NULL if the USB host sends requests before the nexus is fully
established or immediately after it is dropped.

Currently, functions like `bot_submit_command()` and the data
transfer paths retrieve `tv_nexus = tpg->tpg_nexus` and immediately
dereference `tv_nexus->tvn_se_sess` without any validation. If a
malicious or misconfigured USB host sends a BOT (Bulk-Only Transport)
command during this race window, it triggers a NULL pointer
dereference, leading to a kernel panic (local DoS).

This exposes an inconsistent API usage within the module, as peer
functions like `usbg_submit_command()` and `bot_send_bad_response()`
correctly implement a NULL check for `tv_nexus` before proceeding.

Fix this by bringing consistency to the nexus handling. Add the
missing `if (!tv_nexus)` checks to the vulnerable BOT command and
request processing paths, aborting the command gracefully with an
error instead of crashing the system.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43460
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

spi: rockchip-sfc: Fix double-free in remove() callback

The driver uses devm_spi_register_controller() for registration, which
automatically unregisters the controller via devm cleanup when the
device is removed. The manual call to spi_unregister_controller() in
the remove() callback can lead to a double-free.

And to make sure controller is unregistered before DMA buffer is
unmapped, switch to use spi_register_controller() in probe().

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43461
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

spi: amlogic: spifc-a4: Fix DMA mapping error handling

Fix three bugs in aml_sfc_dma_buffer_setup() error paths:
1. Unnecessary goto: When the first DMA mapping (sfc->daddr) fails,
nothing needs cleanup. Use direct return instead of goto.
2. Double-unmap bug: When info DMA mapping failed, the code would
unmap sfc->daddr inline, then fall through to out_map_data which
would unmap it again, causing a double-unmap.
3. Wrong unmap size: The out_map_info label used datalen instead of
infolen when unmapping sfc->iaddr, which could lead to incorrect
DMA sync behavior.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43462
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

The DMA mappings were leaked on mapping error. Free them with the
existing emac_free_tx_buf() function.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-43463
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

rxrpc, afs: Fix missing error pointer check after rxrpc_kernel_lookup_peer()

rxrpc_kernel_lookup_peer() can also return error pointers in addition to
NULL, so just checking for NULL is not sufficient.

Fix this by:

(1) Changing rxrpc_kernel_lookup_peer() to return -ENOMEM rather than NULL
on allocation failure.

(2) Making the callers in afs use IS_ERR() and PTR_ERR() to pass on the
error code returned.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-23239
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

espintcp: Fix race condition in espintcp_close()

This issue was discovered during a code audit.

After cancel_work_sync() is called from espintcp_close(),
espintcp_tx_work() can still be scheduled from paths such as
the Delayed ACK handler or ksoftirqd.
As a result, the espintcp_tx_work() worker may dereference a
freed espintcp ctx or sk.

The following is a simple race scenario:

cpu0 cpu1

espintcp_close()
cancel_work_sync(&ctx->work);
espintcp_write_space()
schedule_work(&ctx->work);

To prevent this race condition, cancel_work_sync() is
replaced with disable_work_sync().

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-23240
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

tls: Fix race condition in tls_sw_cancel_work_tx()

This issue was discovered during a code audit.

After cancel_delayed_work_sync() is called from tls_sk_proto_close(),
tx_work_handler() can still be scheduled from paths such as the
Delayed ACK handler or ksoftirqd.
As a result, the tx_work_handler() worker may dereference a freed
TLS object.

The following is a simple race scenario:

cpu0 cpu1

tls_sk_proto_close()
tls_sw_cancel_work_tx()
tls_write_space()
tls_sw_write_space()
if (!test_and_set_bit(BIT_TX_SCHEDULED, &tx_ctx->tx_bitmask))
set_bit(BIT_TX_SCHEDULED, &ctx->tx_bitmask);
cancel_delayed_work_sync(&ctx->tx_work.work);
schedule_delayed_work(&tx_ctx->tx_work.work, 0);

To prevent this race condition, cancel_delayed_work_sync() is
replaced with disable_delayed_work_sync().

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-31417
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net/x25: Fix overflow when accumulating packets

Add a check to ensure that `x25_sock.fraglen` does not overflow.

The `fraglen` also needs to be resetted when purging `fragment_queue` in
`x25_clear_queues()`.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-31418
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

netfilter: ipset: drop logically empty buckets in mtype_del

mtype_del() counts empty slots below n->pos in k, but it only drops the
bucket when both n->pos and k are zero. This misses buckets whose live
entries have all been removed while n->pos still points past deleted slots.

Treat a bucket as empty when all positions below n->pos are unused and
release it directly instead of shrinking it further.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2025-71239
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

audit: add fchmodat2() to change attributes class

fchmodat2(), introduced in version 6.6 is currently not in the change
attribute class of audit. Calling fchmodat2() to change a file
attribute in the same fashion than chmod() or fchmodat() will bypass
audit rules such as:

-w /tmp/test -p rwa -k test_rwa

The current patch adds fchmodat2() to the change attributes class.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2026-23241
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

audit: add missing syscalls to read class

The "at" variant of getxattr() and listxattr() are missing from the
audit read class. Calling getxattrat() or listxattrat() on a file to
read its extended attributes will bypass audit rules such as:

-w /tmp/test -p rwa -k test_rwa

The current patch adds missing syscalls to the audit read class.

๐Ÿšจ CVE-2025-71265
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

fs: ntfs3: fix infinite loop in attr_load_runs_range on inconsistent metadata

We found an infinite loop bug in the ntfs3 file system that can lead to a
Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition.

A malformed NTFS image can cause an infinite loop when an attribute header
indicates an empty run list, while directory entries reference it as
containing actual data. In NTFS, setting evcn=-1 with svcn=0 is a valid way
to represent an empty run list, and run_unpack() correctly handles this by
checking if evcn + 1 equals svcn and returning early without parsing any run
data. However, this creates a problem when there is metadata inconsistency,
where the attribute header claims to be empty (evcn=-1) but the caller
expects to read actual data. When run_unpack() immediately returns success
upon seeing this condition, it leaves the runs_tree uninitialized with
run->runs as a NULL. The calling function attr_load_runs_range() assumes
that a successful return means that the runs were loaded and sets clen to 0,
expecting the next run_lookup_entry() call to succeed. Because runs_tree
remains uninitialized, run_lookup_entry() continues to fail, and the loop
increments vcn by zero (vcn += 0), leading to an infinite loop.

This patch adds a retry counter to detect when run_lookup_entry() fails
consecutively after attr_load_runs_vcn(). If the run is still not found on
the second attempt, it indicates corrupted metadata and returns -EINVAL,
preventing the Denial-of-Service (DoS) vulnerability.
