🚨 CVE-2024-42097
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ALSA: emux: improve patch ioctl data validation

In load_data(), make the validation of and skipping over the main info
block match that in load_guspatch().

In load_guspatch(), add checking that the specified patch length matches
the actually supplied data, like load_data() already did.

🚨 CVE-2024-42098
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

crypto: ecdh - explicitly zeroize private_key

private_key is overwritten with the key parameter passed in by the
caller (if present), or alternatively a newly generated private key.
However, it is possible that the caller provides a key (or the newly
generated key) which is shorter than the previous key. In that
scenario, some key material from the previous key would not be
overwritten. The easiest solution is to explicitly zeroize the entire
private_key array first.

Note that this patch slightly changes the behavior of this function:
previously, if the ecc_gen_privkey failed, the old private_key would
remain. Now, the private_key is always zeroized. This behavior is
consistent with the case where params.key is set and ecc_is_key_valid
fails.

🚨 CVE-2024-5642
CPython 3.9 and earlier doesn't disallow configuring an empty list ("[]") for SSLContext.set_npn_protocols() which is an invalid value for the underlying OpenSSL API. This results in a buffer over-read when NPN is used (see CVE-2024-5535 for OpenSSL). This vulnerability is of low severity due to NPN being not widely used and specifying an empty list likely being uncommon in-practice (typically a protocol name would be configured).

🚨 CVE-2024-42120
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

drm/amd/display: Check pipe offset before setting vblank

pipe_ctx has a size of MAX_PIPES so checking its index before accessing
the array.

This fixes an OVERRUN issue reported by Coverity.

🚨 CVE-2024-56591
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

Bluetooth: hci_conn: Use disable_delayed_work_sync

This makes use of disable_delayed_work_sync instead
cancel_delayed_work_sync as it not only cancel the ongoing work but also
disables new submit which is disarable since the object holding the work
is about to be freed.

🚨 CVE-2025-56161
YOSHOP 2.0 allows unauthenticated information disclosure via comment-list API endpoints in the Goods module. The Comment model eagerly loads the related User model without field filtering; because User.php defines no $hidden or $visible attributes, sensitive fields (bcrypt password hash, mobile number, pay_money, expend_money.) are exposed in JSON responses. Route names vary per deployment (e.g. /api/goods.pinglun/list), but all call the same vulnerable model logic.

🎖@cveNotify
🚨 CVE-2025-56162
YOSHOP 2.0 suffers from an unauthenticated SQL injection in the goodsIds parameter of the /api/goods/listByIds endpoint. The getListByIds function concatenates user input into orderRaw('field(goods_id, ...)'), allowing attackers to: (a) enumerate or modify database data, including dumping admin password hashes; (b) write web-shell files or invoke xp_cmdshell, leading to remote code execution on servers configured with sufficient DB privileges.

🚨 CVE-2024-56564
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ceph: pass cred pointer to ceph_mds_auth_match()

This eliminates a redundant get_current_cred() call, because
ceph_mds_check_access() has already obtained this pointer.

As a side effect, this also fixes a reference leak in
ceph_mds_auth_match(): by omitting the get_current_cred() call, no
additional cred reference is taken.

🚨 CVE-2024-56565
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

f2fs: fix to drop all discards after creating snapshot on lvm device

Piergiorgio reported a bug in bugzilla as below:

------------[ cut here ]------------
WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 969 at fs/f2fs/segment.c:1330
RIP: 0010:__submit_discard_cmd+0x27d/0x400 [f2fs]
Call Trace:
__issue_discard_cmd+0x1ca/0x350 [f2fs]
issue_discard_thread+0x191/0x480 [f2fs]
kthread+0xcf/0x100
ret_from_fork+0x31/0x50
ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30

w/ below testcase, it can reproduce this bug quickly:
- pvcreate /dev/vdb
- vgcreate myvg1 /dev/vdb
- lvcreate -L 1024m -n mylv1 myvg1
- mount /dev/myvg1/mylv1 /mnt/f2fs
- dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/f2fs/file bs=1M count=20
- sync
- rm /mnt/f2fs/file
- sync
- lvcreate -L 1024m -s -n mylv1-snapshot /dev/myvg1/mylv1
- umount /mnt/f2fs

The root cause is: it will update discard_max_bytes of mounted lvm
device to zero after creating snapshot on this lvm device, then,
__submit_discard_cmd() will pass parameter @nr_sects w/ zero value
to __blkdev_issue_discard(), it returns a NULL bio pointer, result
in panic.

This patch changes as below for fixing:
1. Let's drop all remained discards in f2fs_unfreeze() if snapshot
of lvm device is created.
2. Checking discard_max_bytes before submitting discard during
__submit_discard_cmd().

🚨 CVE-2024-56570
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ovl: Filter invalid inodes with missing lookup function

Add a check to the ovl_dentry_weird() function to prevent the
processing of directory inodes that lack the lookup function.
This is important because such inodes can cause errors in overlayfs
when passed to the lowerstack.

🚨 CVE-2024-41015
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ocfs2: add bounds checking to ocfs2_check_dir_entry()

This adds sanity checks for ocfs2_dir_entry to make sure all members of
ocfs2_dir_entry don't stray beyond valid memory region.

🚨 CVE-2024-41016
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ocfs2: strict bound check before memcmp in ocfs2_xattr_find_entry()

xattr in ocfs2 maybe 'non-indexed', which saved with additional space
requested. It's better to check if the memory is out of bound before
memcmp, although this possibility mainly comes from crafted poisonous
images.

🚨 CVE-2024-8088
There is a HIGH severity vulnerability affecting the CPython "zipfile"
module affecting "zipfile.Path". Note that the more common API "zipfile.ZipFile" class is unaffected.

When iterating over names of entries in a zip archive (for example, methods
of "zipfile.Path" like "namelist()", "iterdir()", etc)
the process can be put into an infinite loop with a maliciously crafted
zip archive. This defect applies when reading only metadata or extracting
the contents of the zip archive. Programs that are not handling
user-controlled zip archives are not affected.
