After integrating Meta AI into WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger, Meta is now rolling out a standalone AI assistant app — revealed at the recent LlamaCon event.

Think ChatGPT-style experience, but Meta is supposed to know you better. Unlike OpenAI or Anthropic, Meta has years of your data — your likes, friends, follows, and profile — thanks to Facebook and Instagram.

As a result you get more personalized responses, drawn from what you already share on Meta’s platforms.

Currently available in the U.S and Canada.

🔤Up to 200 people can join a call instantly.

🔤Business accounts upgraded. Support for third-party bots, including AI-based ones.
🔤Improved message forwarding. Long-pressing “Forward” gives quick access to recent chats and Saved Messages.
🔤More privacy settings. You can now hide gifts on your profile.
