It is debatable if Clean Code actually improves the programmer efficiency and programs readability. I find people applying it religiously often create over-complex designs like FizzBuzz Enterprise.

The main problem seems to be that Clean Code is mostly a premature optimisation in code flexibility. It makes code more complex and objectively worse in hope it would be easier to extend later. Unfortunately we often dont know how the code will change, and in practice the code has to be significantly changed/rewritten anyway when a business requirement change appears.
IMHO optimizing for simplicity and readability has served me the best. Instead of avoiding the changes in code, it is better to write code so obvious that anyone can safely and easily change it when really needed.
And finally, performance of the program vs performance of the developer is a false dichotomy. So many times I've seen a more readable, simpler code turned out to be more efficient as well. You often can have both.

A quick survey of the thread seems to indicate the 7b parameter LLaMA model does about 20 tokens per second (~4 words per second) on a base model M1 Pro, by taking advantage of Apple Silicon’s Neural Engine.
Note that the latest model iPhones ship with a Neural Engine of similar performance to latest model M-series MacBooks (both iPhone 14 Pro and M1 MacBook Pro claim 15.8 teraflops on their respective neural engines; it might be the same exact component in each chip). All iPhone 14 models sport 6GB integrated RAM; the MacBook starts at 8GB. All of the specs indicate an iPhone 14 Pro could achieve similar throughput to an M1 MacBook Pro.
Some people have already had success porting Whisper to the Neural Engine, and as of 14 hours ago GGerganov (the guy who made this port of LLaMA to the Neural Engine and who made the port of Whisper to C++) posted a GitHub comment indicating he will be working on that in the next few weeks.
So. With Whisper and LLaMA on the Neural Engine both showing better than real-time performance, and Apple’s own pre-existing Siri Neural TTS, it looks like we have all the pieces needed to make a ChatGPT-level assistant operate entirely through voice and run entirely on your phone. This is absolutely extraordinary stuff!

Редкий вариант таблички и указателя одновременно. Чаще всего стрелку рисовали на стандартной прямоугольной основе.
Найдена подписчиком канала на пункте приема металлолома (кстати, там пополняют коллекции многие из нашей среды). Т.е. вы можете себе представить, что кто-то сдал такую табличку по цене металла? Я нет. Тем не менее, это реальность. Во многом, поэтому я завел этот канал. Чтобы такого не происходило. Второго завоза таких табличек уже не будет. Даже современные эмалевые делают уже не так.

I feel like killing Reader was the point at which I switched from viewing Google mostly positively to more skeptically. Which doesn't seem terribly rational, really; it wasn't the first product to be axed, it was perfectly possible to replace... Maybe it was just the first product axing that really affected me? The moment Google went from "provider of great free stuff" to "sometimes provider of free stuff, sometimes kills stuff" is the moment it became unreliable, the moment I had to stop and consider whether their interests really aligned with mine rather than just assuming so. Or maybe I'm just bitter over nothing:)
Edit: Perhaps a better phrasing: Before, if you asked "will this useful Google product be here in a year", I would answer "yes". After, I could only say "maybe". And that made all the difference.

Языки Дагестана мы уже немного осветили выше, коснемся теперь одного удивительного эпизода кавказской истории. На карте 1️⃣ видим древнее царство Албанию, которую, чтобы отличать от страны 🇦🇱Албании, принято называть Кавказской. Мимоходом заметим, что Кавказ горазд на такие совпадения. Древние греки называли иберами и народ, живший на Пиренейском полуострове, и предков современных грузин. Отсюда второе название полуострова – Иберийский, и одно из названий Грузии – Иверия. В VI-IX вв. на территории нынешней Венгрии жили пришедшие из Великой Степи авары, никак не связанные с аварцами. Название Балкарии перекликается с Булгарией и Болгарией (и, кстати, связь действительно может быть, но это не точно). Но вернемся к Албании.
Это государство существовало с I в. до н.э. по VIII в. н.э., взаимодействовало с Персией, Арменией и Римом. Его население было многоязычным, но единственный известный нам язык Кавказской Албании – агванский 2️⃣, наследником которого является удинский, относящийся к числу лезгинских.
Албания приняла христианство в IV веке через Армению, и впоследствии Албанская церковь была частью Армянской апостольской. Албанские христиане частично армянизировались, частично приняли ислам и были ассимилированы тюркскими и дагестанскими народами, но часть сохранила и веру, и язык. Это и есть удины, всего около 10 тыс. чел.
В Закавказье удины компактно живут в двух селах – одном в Азербайджане, и одном в Грузии. А в России вовсе не в Дагестане, как остальные носители лезгинских языков, а преимущественно в Ростовской области 3️⃣, особенно же в городе Шахты. Как нетрудно догадаться, оказались они там не от хорошей жизни: подавляющее большинство российских удин переселились в Россию в результате армяно-азербайджанского конфликта, так как для азербайджанцев они были по сути армянами.
