🇰🇷On January 11, Korean Air Force F-5E crashed into a mountain after take-off in Gyeonggi Province, the pilot tried to parachute to escape but failed.
South Korea’s Ministry of National Defense said that right after the F-5E took off at Suwon base, the warning light of the problem with both engines came on and the fighter began to lower its nose.
The fighter jet crashed into a mountain in Hwaseong city, Gyeonggi province, about 40 kilometers south of Seoul, just two minutes after takeoff.

🇰🇷11 января истребитель Northrop F-5E ВВС Южной Кореи врезался в гору после взлета в провинции Кёнгидо. Пилот выпрыгнул с парашютом, но погиб.
По данным Минобороны страны, сразу после взлета F-5E с базы Сувон загорелась сигнальная лампочка, сообщившая о проблеме с обоими двигателями, после чего истребитель начал опускать нос.
Истребитель врезался в гору неподалеку от города Хвасон, примерно в 40 километрах к югу от Сеула, всего через две минуты после взлета.
