Russian troops have also been deployed to Baikonur.
In addition to infamous 45th Special Forces Brigade of Airborne Forces, the 98th Guards Airborne Division was deployed to Kazakhstan from Ivanovo with BMD-2 and command-staff vehicles based on KAMAZ.

🇷🇺Продолжается переброска российского контингента на аэродромы «Алматы» и «Жетыген». Российские войска также развернуты на Байконур.
Кроме 45-й бригады спецназа ВДВ, в Казахстан переброшена 98-я гвардейская воздушно-десантная дивизия из Иваново с БМД-2 и КШМ на базе КАМАЗ.
