В тот же день, на фоне протестной публикации турецкой газеты, была вброшена свежая версия: после безуспешных попыток обнаружить "следы" ЦРУ и талибана, в Казахских протестах моментально нашли "турецкий след" и даже робко (пока) заявили о причастности к протестам «Серых волков» (Bozkurtçular) — турецкой молодёжной организации ультраправых националистов.
